This is an exercise I call quick bail 😂😂 nah this is a common exercise I use alot on horses that are either nervous,anxious or bolters.
I use this method to keep the horse calm and relaxed while keeping me safe.
Nothing worse then getting on the first time and horse wants to bolt,buck, etc.
This gives me an idea on how they would react when I go to get on completely.
First time I go to do it is a quick on off then while the horse is thinking on that the longer and slower I get to staying up there till the point I can officially sit there quietly with them.

He was a complete gem for not having much training or riding before coming.
He is gonna be one ripper of a horse once his finished and back with his owner.
When owner wants me to make him as quiet as possible you turn into an over reactive kid 🤷🏼♀️😂

So proud of my stud youngster. Haven’t been able to do anything with all this rain on and off with this rain having a break. He is such a willing boy and so quiet to do anything with.
I have taught to walk and wait patiently for me to walk up and hop on.
He got a lot of praise for standing quietly while I got on.
