Simone Lily Sorensen – Rising Equestrian Star off to Represent in Brazil 🇧🇷

Hailing from the outback of Australia, Simone Lily Sorensen grew up surrounded by wide open spaces and a love for horses that shaped her life from an early age. Her connection with horses began in her childhood, flourishing in the unique environment of the Australian countryside.

When Simone transitioned to boarding school, she brought her horses along, determined to continue her equestrian journey. It was during this period that she fell in love with showjumping, This passion set her on a path that has taken her to the highest levels of young rider competition.

Now competing in Young Rider classes up to 1.50m, Simone has proven herself as a formidable competitor, earning recognition and the honour of competing in Brazil.

Simone’s ambitions reach far beyond the competition arena. She dreams of traveling the globe to compete on the international stage, testing her mettle against the best in the world. Alongside her competitive goals, she has a vision to breed and educate her own future stars, blending her love for horses with a desire to contribute to the sport’s future.

The gorgeous Mat I have at our Front Counter gets so many comments and requests, so I put my search cap on to find more and I think after many months of searching, putting feelers out & requests on websites for them to automatically let me know when a item becomes available I have found not only one similar, but an array of gorgeous Floor Mats, Bathroom & Kitchen Mats, Wall Art, Pillows and Doona Covers to match.

I will only be ordering one of each to start with so I know the quality is right & they’re what I’m wanting. So watch this space and the website as more beautiful homewares start hitting the Store

Website Update.

We are still stock counting, not far off finished, but this does mean we will be a day late on getting the website up sorry.

I’m so EXCITED 😆

Website is done. Final touches, stock count, stock Re ticketing and POS checks are all under way.

This has honestly been a mammoth job. I know it won’t be 100% perfect, I will have missed something, but come 5pm Monday, 6th January it will be set live for everyone’s viewing pleasure.

2024 What a Year You Have Been.

A Year of Absolute Highs and Lows.

A Year Full of Struggles for Each and Everyone of Us. We understand it has been a tough one and we thank you all so very much for your support.

2024 saw the highest rate of business closures in Australia. In the USA it’s seen a 65% increase in store closures and has seen Macy’s announce the closure of at least 50 stores. For us this tells us how lucky we are to be supported by amazing people. For me it also makes me wonder for our future. Are we to be a world with no physical stores?

2024 saw us hit the road lots. In fact from August to middle of November we attended an event every weekend & along the way met so many wonderful people from across Australia. We feel so privileged to meet so many amazing people.

One thing we constantly get reminded is that horse people are a different breed, we are built tough, we are resilient and we are constantly pushing ourselves to succeed.

2024 was a great year for our Sponsored Riders. We love having these amazing people on board supporting and helping promote us and we can’t thank Brooke, Carly, Dan, Ruby (Kate), Simone and Maggie enough.

2025 will see more changes within our store, us in the road a lot and more amazing brands.

Finally but not least, are you ready. Come Monday, 6th January our Website will be live 👏👏
