It's not widely known that there are in fact two breeds of Corgi 🤔
When thinking of a Corgi, the more popular Pembroke breed comes to mind, but in fact the Cardigan is thought to be the original.

In honour of National Corgi Day, we're highlighting the differences between the two - but we definitely love them both equally! 🐾

Earlier this year we met up with .au - she is a beautiful Mistycor girl who wanted to use Rollo to produce a litter. [Mistycor is a kennel in Russia]
This mating has produced two beautiful boys, I’m sure there will be some hard decisions on who is staying.
This is not our litter, however a litter assessment will take place before placing a puppy in their forever home.

Upon our road trip to the National.

We decided to do the 2 days of shows at the Dogs n Dust cluster in Broken Hill. Can’t believe it’s been a week already!! (Forgot to post)

Broken Hill shows may sound like a little show cluster, however having 7 rings, with 7 judges, stewards etc running concurrently they definitely put on an amazing show.

The grounds were amazingly lush and green. Our dogs have throughly enjoyed their road trip.

Thank you and congratulations to all exhibitors on the days. Everyone was very pleasant and cooperative.

Today we met a very special girl
She is Brie’s full sister, out of Reign [Ch. Aberlee Reign Of Love] and by Connor [Ch. Aberlee French Connection].
Which is also a Rollo niece.
Meringue came down and met all her extended family today, it was just lovely to see how well she has matured.
She is the spitting image of Brie.

Today we left Gilgandra and arrived in Cobar mid morning. Stopped for an hour for a rest…. And some photos.
I think Rollo really blends into the rich red dirt in the Australian outback.
So many goats on the side of the road, lots of kangaroos (dec’d) and emus plus a CAT!!
We are checked into Broken Hill for a few days before our next leg of the trip…….. A D E L A I D E!!
This is where our 20th corgi national is being held and MANY corgis and breeders/enthusiasts from all over Australia and New Zealand come to partake in the event.
Amazing few days to spend showing our dogs.

Can’t believe he is 10years old and acts like an exuberant puppy.

Idelia Albus Dumbledore - Bred by of Idelia Pembroke Corgis
Albie was awarded Baby Puppy In Group at both the Western Suburbs shows on Sunday held at grounds over the long weekend.
Due to the ran Albie did not want a bar of walking on wet grass 😂 however due to the long day at the show. I piloted Albie for baby in show - after a heavy down pour Albie had enough walking 😂
Then he came for a sleepover. Such an energetic promising young dog. He did fall asleep…… after zoomies 😂
Albie is a Rollo son, and growing nicely.
