🚨 News is, The microchip registry known as HomeSafeID is going into receivership.

If you think your pet’s microchip may be registered with HomeSafeID, we urge you to jump online and transfer your pets microchip to another registry ASAP.
If your dog or cat is lost, and their microchip is still registered to HomeSafeID, all of your contact information required to reunite you with your pet is inaccessible. 🥺

If you aren’t sure which company your pet’s microchip is registered with, you can check on the Pet Address website:

2025 has something different in store for Dr Ame. She will be taking this year to focus on her Masters in Agricultural Science with Majors in Horticulture and Plant Protection. 🌱

To say we are going to miss Ame at Rangeside is a massive understatement. You see, Ame is one of those rare magical veterinary unicorns - she can do it all! She is not only a dedicated, highly skilled vet with the most generous heart, Ame always goes out of her way to ensure everyone is okay at Rangeside, her patients, clients and colleagues. 💗

We wish you well with your studies this year Ame. Thank you for all your hard work and commitment to Rangeside Vets over the years.

20 years ago today the doors opened to “Rangeside Vets” 🎂

A lot of changes have happened during that time, but these two smiling faces have been greeting our clients and caring for our patients since day one!

Looking for his furr-ever home 🐾

This beautiful boy is in desperate need of a loving home.
Please tag someone you think might know of a suitable, caring place for him to go to.
For now, he is in great hands with a wonderful carer, but needs to find a permanent home.

Male, not desexed, not microchipped, approx 1-2 years old, beautiful temperament, fully vaccinated, up to date with worming, flea and tick prevention.

Another farewell to one of our brilliant vet nurses.

Jemma, we are all going to miss your bubbly attitude, your compassion for your patients, your willingness to give anything a go, your smiling face and of course, your rage cleaning skills!

This place won’t be the same without you. 😢

It has taken a long time to write this Facebook post…. And we apologise, but it took time to be able to manage to put into words how much we are going to miss Kristen at Rangeside Vets! 😢

Kristen has been the fix it person, our go-to gal, our highly skilled nurse who had all the answers.
We have been extremely lucky to have been able to work with Kristen at Rangeside Vets for all these years, our nurses skill’s are all the better for her guidance and wealth of knowledge, our patients and clients were always cared for with respect and kidness, and let’s be honest, Alistair couldn’t have managed the place as well as he has without Kristen! 😆

Kristen has decided to try her hand at something new, and we have no doubt she will be just as amazing at her new workplace, as she has been with us. 🌟

Thank you Kristen, for everything you have done for us all at Rangeside. We miss your wicked sense of humour, we miss you! 💓

There is always a place for you at Rangeside Vets. 💜

Unfortunately he is not microchipped 😢
And does not have an identification tag on his collar.
We would love to reunite him with his family.
