🎤"Just brilliant. Totally versatile rug. It doesn't move during a good roll. The neck rug being attachable is great for the warmer days, and really secure (even when I didn't do up one of the tabs) :) It has held up to some feral Tasmanian weather which has included heavy rain and winds.

🎤Karen M: "Earlwood Solstice WATERPROOF Fleece Lined Combo - Just brilliant. Totally versatile rug. It doesn't move during a good roll. The neck rug being attachable is great for the warmer days. and really secure (even when I didn't do up one of the tabs) :) It has held up to some feral Tasmanian weather which has included heavy rain and winds. It has also been a great rug to take away when Neil is yarded. He is warm and not too hot which has been a problem in the past. I have also got one of my older horses in the combo. It is a great "set and leave " rug where she is not too hot during the milder days and plenty warm enough at night. She is a totally "roastie" horse too, so this has been the easiest temperature control for her ever.

❓Why 600D not 1200D for our Solstice Combo?
The denier of the fabric has no effect on the waterproofing of the fabric. Denier is a unit of measurement used to determine the fibre
thickness of individual threads or filaments used in making a fabric.
Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thicker. Fabrics with a low denier count tend to be softer. The waterproofing coating on both fabrics is the same.
We were aiming for a comfortable and lightweight rug, that was both warm and waterproof without creating too much bulk and weight for the horse. We think we’ve got a good mix - what do you think?
So many people have asked us over the years if we’d do regular ripstops and I put it off for so long because I just thought there were so many on the market, how could we possibly compete?
They’re not the cheapest on the market that’s true, but here at Earlwood, we’re not about just bulk producing cheap horse rugs. We will not sacrifice quality for price point.
