Couple of abandoned kittens came in today for Angels Rescue Toowoomba. They are healthy enough to go off to a neonate cater but we have e them their first feed. Check out the little ears going and don’t stop till you see the end……it’s hysterical #westtoowoombavetsurgery #angelsrescuetoowoomba #kittensofinstagram
We broke the cat! Bought Fergus a harness for his tracker as the collar was a bit problematic. What a drama queen. #westtoowoombavetsurgery #surgerycat #dramaqueen
Fergus - tho only one NOT impressed by the stray kitten staying #westtoowoombavetsurgery #surgerycat #surgerycatlife
It’s that time of the year where we get swamped with baby birds. This little honey eater fell out of his nest and busted his air sacs. They’ve been drained but may need to be redone. 🤞 for a happy ending #westtoowoombavetsurgery
This release was nothing to crow about. Mr Crow got out if the carrier just as we got to the release site. 🤦♀️. Opened the window and off he flew. He might give us a 5 star medical treatment review but we will get marked down on our release technique. 🤣 #crow #westtoowoombavetsurgery
Are you “sitting pretty?” Let beautiful Spud show you the way!
Happy birthday to Dr Michael!! 🥳🎉
Ever wondered what goes on out the back of our clinic? Generally it’s just Michael dancing with the boarding birds or baby talking to Fergus and giving him cuddles. We wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️
We hope you have the best day at work today Michael! (And we hope you don’t see this post too soon and make us take the video down 😂)
Fergus is amusing himself (and us) with the drug packaging. Good fun on these wet days. #westtoowoombavetsurgery #funnycats #crazycats
Back they go to the Japanese Gardens. This handsome pair were bought in by the RSPCA Toowoomba ambulance. Luckily there was not much wrong, so they were released back. Big 🙏 to our nurses who often do this job after work. #homeagain #duck #westtoowoombavetsurgery #rspcaqld #vetnursesrock
Did you see Xena in the carrier? Her mother was a victim of a car on the road out to Crows Nest. We see so many koalas hit on that stretch of road. 🙏🙏 please take care driving along there. And stop if you do hit any wildlife.
Xena will now need round the clock care- including sleeping skin to skin so she binds with her carer. Unless this happens, she will not feed. #westtoowoombavetsurgery #wildlifewarrior #wildlifecarer
Guess what is making that noise? See what’s under the towel - you’ll be amazed. #westtoowoombavetsurgery
