Gwen and Delilah have both done well through their pregnancies and are now settling into the maternity ward with Mattea Davidson.

Stephani imp (Gwen) is having a baby by Remi Braveheart. Gwen is by Swarovski and out of a King Arthur mare.

Davrol Delilah is in foal to Maracana (imp). Delilah is by De Niro and out of our own imported Farewell III mare, Fidelity. Delilah is the full sister to the late Davrol Dancecard.

Both girls are due on the 28th December.
Fingers are crossed for happy and healthy mates and foals 🤞🤞

One of my all time besties, Kirsty Egan, riding her heart horse Davrol Definity (De Niro / Farewell III / Welt Hit II).

Soxy started life as one of our broodmares after being lightly started under saddle at the age of 4. I decided she just wasn’t tall enough for me as she finished growing at 16.1hh. She produced some extremely nice foals but when I wanted to reduce breeding numbers I decided that Soxy could retire at the early age of 10.

I sent my plan of what I was selling, breeding and retiring to Kirsty and literally five minutes later I received a text asking if she could swap her young 2 year old for Soxy. No problem 👍

It is coming up to two years since Kirsty had a rather nasty fall off a horse and so watching her get her confidence back and simply enjoying time hanging at Davrol with her dream horse is perfect 😍

The Kirsty and Soxy team is still very young but what fun they are having together 🧡🧡🧡

Couldn’t be happier with my beautiful girl on just our second ride in the arena.

Sassy is so smooth and moves effortlessly….she is definitely the nicest horse that I have ever had the privilege of riding.

Oh, and to say that I bred not just her, but her mother as well is a proud breeder moment.

My 3rd little sit on Sassanelle (aka Sassy Smurf) today and I am starting to feel my way towards being confident to trust her.
She had a little spook and then continued on which is always nice 😬
Won’t be long and I will be zooming around my arena 🤞🤞

Safety stirrups and an air safety vest are to go.
It was good management to put a bright pink ribbon 🎀 on the airvest attachment strap. I’m sure I would have set that thing off multiple times by now without it 😬😬🤣

It has been three years since I last found myself in this position and here I am having my first tentative ride on a baby 4 year old.

Here is Davrol Elsie.
She is by Wolkentanz II and out of Davrol Diamante who I sold last year as an Advanced / PSG horse.
Elsie was backed last year by Renton Crook-King (Susan Veal) in September and then has had a gap five months of lounging around in holiday mode.
Huge thanks goes to my offsider, Peta Fenton-Anderson, who has been playing with Elsie on the lunge and long reining to get her ready for the start of a beautiful dressage career.
