Cyclones and floods are the ultimate test for our precious wildlife 🐨💔
Sadly, much of our wildlife found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time when ex-Cyclone Alfred arrived.
Our RSPCA Wildlife Hospital has been inundated daily with water-logged birds unable to fly, injured koalas and kangaroos, and displaced and orphaned possums and turtles. While our Rescue Units has been out on the road non-stop responding to calls of wildlife in distress.
Our RSPCA Teams, alongside our amazing wildlife carers and rescue groups, are working around the clock to treat and care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, but with flood waters continuing to rise we expect to see more and more wildlife in need of help.
HOW YOU CAN HELP? 👇
🦘 Injured and sick wildlife can be brought directly to our Wacol Wildlife Hospital (if safe to do so) if you're in Brisbane. Otherwise Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.
☎️ Call our RSPCA Emergency Hotline on 1300 ANIMAL (264 625) 7am to 7pm for advice, or your local wildlife group.
