After 46 years Torquay Stockfeeds has closed permanently. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our customers and suppliers who have supported our family business over the years. We would also like to say a big thank you for all the kind messages, cards and gifts received over the last few weeks it is greatly appreciated. We will miss the fun and banter we had with our customers but looking forward to a new chapter in our lives.

Like all living things, chickens need to stay hydrated to thrive. Easy access to fresh, clean and cool water at all times is critical, especially over the hot summer months. Pay particular attention to water temperature in summer! Providing several drinkers in different locations is also a great idea. In extremely hot weather a good rule to follow is to provide at least three times the usual water allowance.

Zeus has been transitioning to LifeWise the last week and he is loving it!

Meet Zeus!! Taking his nap after running a muck for the last few hours. This (not so little) guy is the newest addition to the family Torquay Stockfeeds]
We think he is going to make a great mascot for the shop! (and what a great name, definitely suits him 🤣)

When transitioning puppies to a new diet, you don’t want to do it at the same time as rehoming as this can be a very stressful time for the little puppy. At 9 weeks old, he has now been in his new home for a week and is settled enough to start the transition from what the breeder was feeding to his new LifeWise diet. This new diet will help build up his gut microbiome giving him the best opportunity to fulfil his greatest potential. We can’t wait to see how he progresses 😍
