Cancellation of Tomorrow’s Long Jetty Market Due to Weather Conditions - Earlier today, we contacted the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) directly to discuss the forecasted weather conditions. Within the last hour, the BOM has issued a strong wind weather warning following their recent modeling. They are forecasting thunderstorms and up to 25mm of rain.

Given these challenging weather conditions and in consideration of everyone’s safety, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s market. We understand this may be disappointing news and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We explored potential indoor venues as a backup option, but unfortunately, we were unable to find a suitable solution that meets our requirements.

Please note we do also run the new Markets At the Dam, which is scheduled to go ahead on Sunday, 1st December. If you were wanting to shop local this Christmas, please visit us there, behind The Dam Hotel, Hamlyn Terrace.
