In Scott's presentation titled 'Striking Gold - A Lutino Macaw Journey' he will share the excitement in breeding and establishing the rare lutino mutation of the Blue and Gold Macaw in Australia, with birds bred at their facility now found in various countries around the world 💛🙌
Scott has had a keen interest in birds from a very young age and for the past 20 years he and his partner Jeannie have concentrated on breeding parrots including Amazons, Caiques, African Grey's and Macaws. In 2011, Scott and his partner Jeannie "struck gold" 🌟 when they bred their first lutino Blue and Gold Macaw from the first pair of Macaws they purchased. Since then, they have been committed to establishing the mutation properly by holding young back for many years and carefully selecting new birds to bring into their program, focusing on size and genetic heritage.
Scott's presentation will be a must see for anyone interested in parrot mutations and the dedication it takes to develop them correctly! 🦜
