When Lacie takes over and moves her bed in the lounge, Holly thinks it’s great, not only the lounge to lay on but her bed too!! Rainy day again in Bluewater and watching it bucket down, the beautiful green grass we once had in the front is now turning into mud and stinks 🥺

Both dogs owned by Melissa and Gus.

Pups locked away as constantly out getting wet and acting like hippo’s in the water. Wind is crazy here with lots of the big gum branches broken and on the ground. No power at the moment and mostly through out the night, it certainly makes things fun!! Ole girl not interested at all in going for p*e breaks in the down pour, with Groot Maze Holly running around in the monsoon wind rain playing ball and doing their business!! They expect then the same rights after to jump on the lounge or bed soaking wet… NOPE!!
But we’re all ok that’s the main thing!!

GAB Thunder before the storm aka Lochia at 16 months, is living the simple life in Cairns getting spoiled, living in luxury of air conditioning and beach walks in the morning/afternoons. I’m told he is a very social boy that interacts well with everyone including other dogs and is very chilled and relaxed.

At 16 months of age.
How stunning is he, pictures doesn’t show how big this boy is!!
His nature also is very similar to his dad and lives a life playing in water, watching and following his little hoomans and being with his BF!!

Feeling very grateful today!!
We had thought we might have lost our two pups today after finding them watching and jumping around with this guy!!
Thank goodness their recall was good and our daughter home to help my husband bring them inside, after quickly getting an ID on snake with snake catchers and not knowing if they indeed had been bitten, we were extremely lucky that it was only a mildly venomous, a lesser black whip snake.
After speaking with vets and close monitoring, both dogs are doing fine with no symptoms.
A close reminder to always watch out at these hotter times of the year with snakes around.
This could have ended very differently if it was a brown or Taipan.
Think someone was definitely watching out for us today and definitely don’t want to get that phone call ever again while driving home from work. 🙏🐍
