Under the guidance of Nathan Garlick, a seasoned horseman with a knack for starting young horses, you'll learn essential techniques, gain valuable insights, and build a strong foundation in horsemanship. We will cover fundamental groundwork and riding skills that will allow you to leave feeling confident to move forward with your horses.

Riding Price: $360 (+$40 membership fee for non-members)
Fence sitters: $100 (+$40 membership fee for non-members)

Last year we were lucky enough to have Nathan come to our Kids Clinic where he was a huge hit so he’s coming back to run an adults clinic for us.

Nathan has a wealth of knowledge which he has learnt from working with numerous great horseman including the late Ronny Wall.

Nathan has a knack for starting young horses and you'll learn essential techniques, gain valuable insights, and build a strong foundation in horsemanship. He will cover fundamental groundwork and riding skills that will allow you to leave feeling confident to move forward with your horses.

With these skills Nathan runs a very successful horse training business here in North Queensland.
Join us for a great couple of days learning with your horses.

First day on the books at The Man From Snowy River Trainers Challenge. I have a very nice little breaker which it aloud me to get a great foundation on it to where I got on ba****ck first then again with the saddle all in the first session!!
Can't wait to see what we get achieved together in today's session!!

I got asked a while ago from Amanda Hiron if I'd like to be an instructor at Charters Towers Horse Sports school camp this year, which very nervously I said yes. This would be the very first school I'd ever be doing so yes nerves were very high.

To say the least I had a great time over the weekend passing on some of the things I've learnt throughout the years with horses to a great bunch of young people.

Thanks to my offsider over the weekend Stacey Haucke with all your help with the kids and also sharing your knowledge too. Thanks to Charters Towers Horse Sports for having me the camp was awesome!

Lastly big thanks goes to my wife Julie Garlick for helping me set out a lot of the drills and for backing me that I'd be totally fine for the job. Couldn't do it without you!
