Happy Sunday afternoon 🌻✨️ hope everyone has had a lovely weekend so far.

We just wanted to pop on and quickly let everyone know some upcoming dates we are taking a little RnR and getting away for some holidays and will be unavailable.

We are away from Monday 13th november to the Sunday 19th November

Unfortuantely we apologise to all our regular clients and any potiental new clients we are away for Xmas from the friday 22nd dec to Wednesday 27th dec. We wanted to give plenty of notice so your able to find alternative back up help while we are away.

Hi everyone we just wanted to pop on and this isnt the nicest topic we wanted to bring up however it seems to becoming more frequent around town.

Please be extra vigilant with your pets and their behaviours and checking your yards for any out of place items. We are seeing alot of posts of people finding baits that have been thrown into their yards 😤😔

If your pet is not well get them to a vet asap if you suspect they have eaten something they shouldnt have and take anything found in the yard they have eaten out of place with you for testing so the vets can treat accordingly.

It is horrible that people are going to lengths to harm innocent pets we need to keep our loved ones as safe as possible 🐶🐱

Good Morning 🌻 we wanted to pop in to say thank you for the support through bookings lately we are enjoying visiting your fur babies 😊

We also needed to update on some extra dates we are unavailable coming up as Ashley has started a new exciting day job 🎉🎉 and has to fly to brisbane from 12th april til the 15th april for training so we won't be available for any bookings during these dates and sorry for any inconvience this may cause.

Please know Ashley's new job won't affect our ability to offer the services we do as she is still working the same business hours 😊

Wow its February already this year is looking to bring so many good things 🤗

We just wanted to let all our lovely clients and potential clients know we have a little get away planned for next weekend and will be out of town for Saturday 18th feb.

In April we will be unavailable for the 28th and 29th also for some exciting family events and will be out of town from May 5th to May 7th.

Other than these dates we are fully available for all your pet minding needs and we look forward to seeing all your fur babies and growing the Fur baby family with more clients this year 🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰🐴🦆🐔🐍🐠🐄🐖🦞🐢🦎🐐🦙🐑

Please keep an eye on your fur babies during this heat fresh water and shade will be their best friend. Hosing down shady concrete will also provide a cool surface to lay on 😊

It's been a very hot start to the year and temperatures are predicted to stay high throughout the week. As long as they have plenty of fresh air and cool water, most reasonably fit and healthy dogs can manage hot weather without too much trouble at all. What they can’t cope with is a combination of excessive heat and humidity. On a humid day panting simply doesn’t work at all well and dogs can be in a lot of trouble if exercised or otherwise “heat stressed” in some other way.
Signs of heat stress include heavy panting, actively seeking shade and water, anxiety or distress, excessive salivation and weakness or collapse.
During our hot humid summer days we recommend you avoid all exercise with your dogs. Allow them to rest, provide plenty of shade and ensure they have free access to water at all times.
If you are concerned that your dog may be showing signs of heat stress stop all activities, move your dog to a cool place, hose them down and provide fans for cooling if possible. Have a friend or family member call us immediately for further advice while you're helping your dog.
Stay cool and look after yourself in the heat too!

HELP! 😲😲Do you RECOGNISE this chap?🧐🧐 He managed to find his way through a steel gate to the back of the shops and then proceeded to steal the staff handbags and backpacks. 🤬🤬He kindly left the bags up the road minus of course their contents of wallets, money keys etc. The staff are now unable to get home as they can't use their cars. 😞😞This happened at 9.50am today. Please contact us if you know who this is. Video and photos have been forwarded to QPS.

With easter coming family get aways are on the cards to be able to escape the rat race and relax for a few day. But what do you do about your fur babies that can't go? Looking for someone to care for them can be stressful, well stress no more my self and my wife have recently moved to townsville and have brought our pet minding services with us.

We have great recommendations have years of experience caring for all pets great and small. I Ashley have done some basic vet nursing study in the past so pets with medical care required is always a breeze.

We look after your pets like they are our own like family. We offer once or twice daily visits pending on your suburb location as we both work full time also so are limited to twice daily bookings and areas. Once day bookings are fine as they are all done after work. Price pending location.

Our amazing clients with the heaviest heart and how hard this is for us to post we have made the decision to relocate to Townsville due to the medical journey we have been on the last month and a half we arent receiving the medical support Kiarne needs living here so for health and safety we need to make this move. Which means we wont be here for christmas this year and we are very sorry that we won't be able to assist.

Its been very hard to make this decision as we are going to miss all our beautiful and loyal clients and friends we have made over the years we are going to miss everyone and all the beautiful fur babies we will miss seeing their cute faces 💜

We are so grateful and blessed for all the support we have been shown and received through the years and the understanding of the last 2 months. We wont forget anyone and we wish everyone a wonderful and safe Christmas and new years 💜

Ps if anyone decided to make the move to townsville in the future and would like to check in for your fur babies for care we would be more then happy to help 😊

Just a quick update we are back in town and home. We are able to take on bookings again and thank you to all our clients for being so understanding when we had to drop everything and go.

Just an update for christmas bookings we have 19 spots left for bookings over the christmas break.

Can our regular and established clients if you please let us know sooner rather then later if you would like to book for christmas even if you ask to hold a spot while figuring out dates.

New clients more then welcome to make christmas bookings also.

As it is only the two of us and we will still be working our full time jobs over the christmas break we can only physcially take 30 bookings this year. We always do our best to help everyone possible but we also cant run ourselves into the ground either as we need to have some down time to be able to safely and effectively give the best care to your furbabies 😊

Just a side note we will be unable to walk any pets during bookings over christmas as we just wont physcially have the time so christmas booking purely just what our feeding services cover 🐶🐱🐴🐥🐔🐦🦎🐢🐠🐍

Please be careful taking your fur babies out for walks camping ect in any surrounding mount isa bush land. Also keep an eye on yards as there has been cases of birds finding the baits or as nice as i can say it as****es dropping them in yards so please keep an eye out for anything suspect

Visitors travelling through the Mount Isa City Council boundaries are advised that wild-dog and dingo baits will be laid commencing Monday 5 October until Friday 16 October 2020.

People travelling with pets should ensure they are closely supervised to prevent the accidental consumption of poison baits.

Christmas bookings 🎅🎄
With Christmas gaining on us every quickly this year we would like to remind everyone to get their holiday bookings in sooner rather then later if possible.
Our current active clients if you can please let us know if you would like to book even if you will still need to confirm solid dates at a later time just a can you please hold a spot for us will do for now :)

New clients we will do our best to accommodate spaces however we do both still work full time hours over the holiday period so we can only take on so many bookings in total. We always try to help and cover as many as we can but we will also have a limit so it doesn't become too over whelming and unmanageable.

🌅‼️ POLICE UPDATE: CAMPING

Mount Isa Police have confirmed camping is now ALLOWED in the region.

Residents in the designated outback region can travel up to 500km from their doorstep for recreational activity which includes overnight accommodation.

The group limit of ten people applies. See comments for the CHO directive which states multiple nights are allowed.

Camp grounds, caravan parks and camping parks are permitted to operate within the zone.

We were very excited to be able to help out looking after fur babies with upcoming school holidays and Easter but due to this all being on hold and school only being on a break now, We unsterstand the importance of staying home and doing as the government advises to get rid of this virus best we can. So please be aware all camping grounds are now closing also.

Now we are still taking booking for people who have no choice to go away for work or medical issues we are happy to still help out watching your fur babies 😊 but please if it unnessersary travel please stay home the quicker we break the cycle for the virus quicker things go back to normal 😊

With Easter getting close we are taking bookings to look after your fur babies.

Please note we will be in townsville the weekend of the 17th-19th April any pre organised bookings before lunch time today we have made sure to dicuss this with the few clients making bookings. Any bookings after lunch today we are unable to do the 17th-19th april as we are attending a wedding.

Happy new years to all our amazing clients 😊 we hope 2020 brings happiness and love for everyone 😊 we want to thank everyone for your on going support of us we are so grateful for everyone and their beautiful fur babies 💜

With the new year brings exciting times, we will be away from 29th August to the 15th September as we will be away for our wedding 🥰💜👰👰

We also are having a but of a price rise due to the cost of fuel and up keep on our cars. New daily prices will be $15 for once a day visit and $20 for twice daily visits. These come into effect this month on monday the 6th for bookings made from then on. We hope you our valved clients are understanding of these 😀
