We’ve had a little mystery going on here at Hounddog I put Bubbles and Arthur‘s chicken legs to defrost on Tommy‘s tank a couple of times now to our shop we’ve discovered the chicken in his tank and I’ve actually blamed Arthur trying to get it off the top and it falling in but today I realised that Arthur hadn’t been doing it and I believe Tommy has been dragging the packet in I guess I’ll have to add a little bit of chicken to his diet in future.

Hi there my name is “ Frank” and I come to Hounddog Hairdressing very regularly for my haircut, last time my mum decided to get my ears and tail dyed green, this time she thought she would try something different and said she couldn’t make up her mind what colour she wanted me to be so she told the people at Hounddog to just do lots of burst of every colour in the shop on me. I had a lot of fun and lots of attention but nowhere near the attention I’m going to get with my new hairdo !!
So do I like my grooming? Or not ? Sometimes things are just not what they seem !

just like dreadlocks that some of us humans like, there are no magic combs , conditioners , or brushes that will get out knots this significant. They need to be cut off.
Meet King , this was his first haircut today, King suffers some separation Anxiety, with these pups sometimes it helps have Mum or Dad come into help reassure them but if Mum or Dad is also a bit anxious those feelings can transfer , so when Mum added that King is very protective of her as well I quickly realised I would not be able to do Him if she stayed. Well I’ll let you judge how happy I was with our decision, how remarkable our job is working one on with these beautiful Dogs , an amazing feeling earning they’re trust & respect allowing me to even use clippers on his face , I quickly did this recording to reassure his Mum everything was ok 👌 😀
Look at this handsome fella who joined us today Maverick..his brother is actually the mascot for the Bulldogs..we made Maverick feel famous as well with a lovely warm bath with our Alloveen shampoo and moisturiser all rubbed into those wrinkles on his face and a good nail clip
Meet little TUX ..having his first little introduction to the world of grooming with a nice warm bath , trim around his eyes n face , his little paws and around his bottem so he’s all neat n tidy and helps him get used to the process of grooming and enjoys every aspect of it

We met the beautiful Harley today who is totally blind, and his mum was quite worried about how he would cope in a new environment but as you can see lovely Jade had him so relaxed and he was just a pleasure to do .
