Our world has been rocked by the sudden, tragic death of our truck driver Jay while on his holiday of a lifetime down south. Jay has been a part of our BNF family for 5 years and we're struggling to comprehend how we'll manage without him. Please bear with us as we try to process the enormity of our loss and as we remember a unique character whose loyalty and honesty to BNF was unwavering and his heart and generosity to his mates was bottomless.

Today was Liv's last shift at Bolt N Fodder before she moves to NSW...don't look so excited Liv!
For the last 3 and a half years she's juggled her intense veterinary uni course with work at BNF which meant she couldn't be as available as we wished ("do you even work here!?"😂) however she's been a loved and valuable member of our team who we will miss immensely.😭
We wish you the absolute best Liv, and we hope all the suture practise on damaged bags will be helpful to your future patients! 🪡🧵

BNF Christmas Party 2024!
Our private charter "sunset" cruise on Sealink last night may not have provided a sunset (hooray for rain clouds!) but that did not dampen anyone's spirits! For 3 hours we had the best time cruising around the open sea while enjoying the company of our teams, the lights of Townsville and the experience of having our Christmas party on a boat. It's been another hectic year but last night was an opportunity to once again relax and have fun before we start all over again! 🥳🎄🎉🎅🥂

We've seen many forms of transport for picking up a bag of feed...we have someone who pushes her trolley from a few doors down the street, we've had scooters and prams and push-bikes. But now we've had a lawn mower for a bag of chook food 🤣🤣

Another load of round bales has just rolled in!

Are you ready for Mitavite's new look packaging?? Some bags are already in store and the other types will begin rolling in with our next orders. Please don't ask us for the blue bag, red bag, brown bag etc because they've all changed colours!😂

Every workplace needs a prankster and Adam is ours 😂

We have a feeling it's going to be (another) big hay year so we decided to get prepared with a hay storage shed. We got in touch with ABC Sheds and Stage 1 of this project is now complete. Stage 2 is filling it with hay... that comes next!

On a brighter note 😁 We received a huge amount of new stock today...we were a little frazzled and wobbly at the knees by the end of the day! The trailers for Tsv shop are on their way over right now.. all ready for tomorrow morning!

The weekly loads of supplies to Townsville shop are getting bigger...after a very big day packing yesterday this A-B triple was heading for Tsv store this morning! 🚛💨

This is heartbreaking... Shane is returning from NSW fully loaded with new shop stock (after delivering 3 trailers of hay on his way down) and this is the weather conditions he's been in all day. Wind and dust 😢

Our John Deere toys are a little bit cute...especially the Animal Sounds Hayride! 🐴🐮🐷🐑

Today is our birthday at Charters Towers, Bolt N Fodder...12 years ago we opened our doors for business! One day in a crazy moment we decided to open a shop and it was a very humble, very cautious beginning. The years since then have been full of challenges & stress, fun & excitement...but always extremely worthwhile and rewarding. We thank everyone who has been a part of this journey...now we're going to have cake!!🎂🎈🎉
