Last night spoilt us with a new round of puppy graduates. Juno, Rocco, Reyna, Dexter and Mia grew in size and confidence throughout the weeks. They formed fast friendships and worked hard on their training with their humans. Thanks for a fun four weeks, puppies!

Our recent scallywags graduates. Evee, Tuck and Harley have taken a lot away from the last 4 weeks. Learning a great set of skills fornthe rest of their life. From your basics and proofing them with distractions beside them, to completing more complicated skills like roll over, scratch board, nail trims, desensitisation to vet equipment and much much more. Well done to our best show case of skills going to the border collie Tuck. Keep up the learning pups. 🐾Dr Anita

Another Monday, another round of puppies! These cute kiddos graduated preschool last night and we can safely say they had a blast. Each have taken home some handy skills to use in the real world, and have made some good buddies along the way. Scroll through to meet the babies.

This class of cuties graduated preschool last night with a bunch of new skills under their belts. It is so wonderful to see confidence levels grow as puppies realise just how fun preschool can be... check out the difference between their sceptical first day photos compared to their proud-as-punch graduation photos! The Boy’s Club graduated preschool on Monday and took home plenty of new skills to show off. This team of pups gelled effortlessly and their ridiculous games together made all the hard brain work worth it. Scroll through to meet them!

Scallywags has kicked off again for 2025. With our most recent class just graduating during the week. Well done to Pearl the staffie, Willow the Lab and Roman the Border Collie on completing the course. They all learnt some helpful skills including scratch board nail trims, back up, touch and all improved on their loose leash walking despite the bad weather and much more. Willow took out our winner of the competition showing enthusiasm to learn new things. But a very hard class to pick the winner as they all improved and learnt a lot during their time at scallywags. Interrupting your Thursday with some cuteness! 5 little graduates got their bandanas on Tuesday, and though I’m sad I won’t get to hang out with them anymore, I’m so proud of what wonderful puppies they are growing into! Join me in congratulating our most recent puppy preschool students.

And we're back! Our puppy school is off with a bang for 2025, with 10 little graduates earning their bandanas this week. I got to know some *adorable* puppies in this course and was lucky enough to have some previous attendees come along again with their new additions! As always scroll through to meet the students.

From tomorrow night Townsville will have a second 24 hour emergency service open and ready to help you and your pets when we're closed. NQ Care are located at 232 Woolcock Street, Currajong and can be contacted on 4457 2000. JCU Vet are still available for emergencies too on 4781 3600 and we are so grateful that they have been there for you and us over the years and will continue to be.
We will be working with both services, so wherever you choose to go please rest assured you'll be well cared for and we'll be ready to take over again during our normal clinic hours.
