Set on a tropical 50 acre paradise, our 5 star Pet Resort has been purposely designed to provide your pet with a safe haven that is beyond comparison for comfort, service and thoughtful touches. At Townsville Pet Resort your pet is free to relax and daydream or play as much as they like. Each unit has internal accommodation with direct access to a private fully secure grassed yard. We do not cage

or kennel our guests, they have all day access to their own yard and decide when to come inside for rest time. And yes, for safety and comfort we absolutely do tuck each of our guests into bed every evening. For added enrichment we built the Water park with Lagoon for swim time and one on one play time with a team member. The Luxury Lodge was of course built for the most pampered of pooches. Townsville Pet Resort is a family owned local business, our highly experienced, loyal and dedicated team have been lovingly caring for family pets for many years. We really do treat your pets as if they are our own and we ensure your pets stay with us will be an extremely pleasant one. In addition to our excellent facilities, we have CCTV cameras across the Resort and 24 hour onsite management for added security, truly allowing you the "peace of mind" to relax and enjoy your holiday. We are very proud of our Resort and welcome inspections. Please be aware that Inspections are now done by appointment only, bookings via Reception on 47 888 777.

🎄 Holiday Office Hours Update 🎄

Our office is closed from today until Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, as our office staff joins our dedicated team of animal carers to help look after our Christmas guests! 🐾🎅🏼

During this time, we may not be as responsive as usual. If you need assistance, please leave a voicemail or email, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible, prioritising urgent messages. We appreciate your patience and understanding over the coming days.

We would also love to see your furry friends in the holiday spirit! 🎁🐶🎉 Feel free to share your pet's Christmas photos in the comments below!

As for the pic we’ve shared, it’s a flashback to one of our staff doggos, Gavin, celebrating his very first Christmas. Pickle (the seasoned holiday pro) showed him exactly how it’s done – from presents to post-liver cookie naps! 🎅🏼🎄

As the holiday season is in full swing, we wanted to let you know that our pet resort is fully booked, and our dedicated staff is focused on providing the best care for your furry friends! 🐶🐱 Because of this, we will not be able to fulfill any photo requests until mid-January.

If you have a pet in our care and would like an update during the Christmas period, please feel free to leave a message or send an email. Our team will get back to you as soon as we are able, though please note that the office is closed, and our office staff is on-site, caring for the animals alongside our animal carers. ✨

They say we shouldn't play favourites, but sometimes it's impossible not to! 🐾❤️ This sweet girl has been coming to us since she was just a puppy, and now she's 9! Over the years, she’s truly become part of our family, and our Resort feels like her second home. Watching her grow and sharing so many special moments has been a privilege. We love you, Asia 😘
