Yesterday I had an urge for playfulness.
This totally thrifted outfit fit the bill for me.
It all started with the lovely mela purdy black and white top and went from there.
All of these pieces have been sitting in my wardrobe for quite a long time not worn, with the exception of the skirt.
Who doesn't love a tulle skirt 😘🥰
The hat is also one of my favourites 😂🤩

Yesterday we had a trip to "the big smoke" 😀 downtown Brighton 😘
Lots of affluence, not like what I'm used to in the Latrobe Valley.
I had a good look around.
My favorite opshop was closed for the day 🤦🤦🤦
I'm pretty happy with the dress I'm wearing for the outing.
I thrifted it on Saturday because I loved the material 😂
It was a very big job for my sewing skills.
The dress was size 24. I'm size 16.
I completely deconstructed it. I then took it in where I could and sewed it back together.
It's not perfect but I'm happy with it.
