Today is a happy day & a sad day as we farewell one of our Amazing vets.
Dr Georgia leaves us today to go on to new adventures with an internship at a specialist in Melbourne.
She came to us 4 years ago as a new graduate fresh out of uni.
Today she leaves us as a confident, experienced, well rounded vet.
We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and she will be greatly missed at TVC.
Good luck Georgia and Thankyou for all you have done for us and your clients over the years ❤️

Don't let the sad face fool you, Charlie has a huge personality and is totally full of beans.
Charlie is a staffy x, with the size of his paws he's going to be big boy.
Charlie was in today for castration, vaccination & microchipping.
Keep an eye on the Forever Friends Animal Rescue Latrobe fb page as he will be ready for adoption soon. 🥰🐕🐾

Dr Katrin had the best morning, vaccinating & microchipping these 4 fluff balls.
3 little girls & 1 blonde boy, they were so soft and very well behaved pups. 🥰🐕🐕🐕🐕

We have had an influx in snake bites recently, 3 within the last 24hours.
It is perfect weather for snakes, hot and humid.

Please take extra caution with your pets, especially with the long weekend coming up.
Keep properties clear of long grasses, keep pets on lead when walking in bush areas, keep pets indoors on hot days.

If you think your pet has been bitten by a snake please get them to your nearest vet centre for treatment as soon as you can.
Call ahead to get advice, antivenom & treatment can be costly so please 🙏 keep your pets safe! 🐕🐈‍⬛🐍

These 2 looked so cute meeting for the first time in the waiting room today, Ziggy literally looked like Lolas mini me. 🥰🐕🐕

Today was a Forever Friends Animal Rescue Latrobe desexing day with 10 kittens coming in today.
4 girls & 6 boys
Top left is Milo & Ziggy, under them Senorita, bottom left Taco & Zeke.
Top right the 2 Ginger boys are Hamish & Hubert, in the bottom right the 3 girls Salsa, Mojito & Margarita.

All of these beautiful cats will soon be up for adoption make sure you check out the ffarl page 😊❤️🐈‍⬛🐱😻

Please as the days are getting hotter remember to help out our pets.
Bring them inside out of the heat, to air con or fans.
Especially if you have a flat faced breed pug, frenchie, bulldog ect they can find it hard to breath on a cool day, make sure they are out of the sun and heat.
Those that are unable to come in the house make sure they have plenty of shade and lots & lots of water available.

Do NOT walk your dog's in the heat, not only is it hot from the sun but the concrete will burn their paw pads.
If you cannot hold your hand on the concrete it's too hot for your dog's feet.

If you think your pet is suffering from the heat please call your closest vet.

We would like to thank all of our Awesome staff for all of the hard work they have done all year.
And also thank all of our Amazing clients without you we couldn't do what we do 🥰

As we close today at 2pm for everyone to enjoy Christmas Eve, we are closed for the next 2 days & reopen on Friday at 8.30am.

The Team at Traralgon Vet Centre would like to wish all of our Amazing clients a very Merry Christmas!

It has been a great year, we have farewelled some staff and welcomed some new members to the team.
We have met lots of new clients and their pets & have enjoyed every minute of it.
We hope everyone has a magical Christmas tomorrow and Santa spoils you and your fur babies.

Today we had Gigi, Pepsi & Chick in for desexing, vaccination & microchips.
