Tullamore P.A & H Association Inc Show Tullamore PA & H Association Inc. Annual show is held on the second weekend in August at the Tullamore Showgrounds
(Cornett Street Tullamore NSW 2874)

We would like to advise our normal functions include;

Enter in our many classes throughout the horses, cattle, poultry & pavilion sections. You may be interested in the working dog trials (Held a week prior to the show) or the All breeds championship dog show. Enter in the speed shearing competition, young farmer challenge or give the demolition derby a go. If you don't wish to enter an event, th

at's alright enjoy watching the judging of the events or take a look at the pavilion exhibits to get inspired for next years show. Browse through the trade stalls and take a look at the trade exhibits. Have a great time on the show rides or try your luck down the side show alley. Enjoy a BBQ lunch or treat yourself to lunch and delicious afternoon tea in the (upgraded and newly renovated) luncheon pavilion. What a perfect time to enjoy Tullamore, catch up with friends and see what local and surrounding talent we have. We hope to see you all in 2022 for a enjoyable and memorable weekend. A big thank you to our judges—Joe Bowen, Kirrily Quade, and Will Nixon.

Conditions of Entry
1. Only the winning crop in a local competition is to be entered into the Regional Championships. If that crop should be damaged by storm or other cause prior to the judging it may, with the approval of the competitor, be withdrawn in favour of the next best crop.
2. One entry may be made in the name of the owner of the property on which the wheat is grown. However, if it is a share farm or partnership arrangement the entry may be submitted in joint names.
3. Individual competitors will be notified by the local society competition steward of the date and time when the local judge will inspect the crop. On receipt of this notice competitors must complete a cropping details sheet, ready to hand to the judge. This is available from the crop competition steward.
4. A competitor is not eligible to enter in two different local competitions with a crop or crops from the one property in respect of the ASC Field Wheat Competition.
5. Varieties of wheat shall be limited to Bread Wheats only, and those currently recommended by the Regional Silo Group for the location in which the crops are grown.
6. Each competitor must enter a plot of 16 hectares of wheat of one variety.
7. It must have been sown in one paddock.
8. One side of the pegged area must be bordered by a fence, waterway, creek or roadway. Areas which are pegged irregularly across a paddock to avoid poor or eroded patches are not eligible. Recognised soil erosion control measures including strip farming shall not prejudice the interpretation of this.
9. A crop grown on ground artificially watered after 1st January 2024 shall not be eligible.
10. No entry fee is required by the ASC for the Regional Championship. There is no local entry fee.
11. The ASC requires notification by the Show Societies, Agricultural Bureau and NSW Farmers Association of their intention to conduct a local competition. Individual entries must be lodged with the ASC Dryland Wheat Competition steward of the local society conducting the local competition.
12. All competitors are requested to retain some harvested grain from the crop competition to participate in the following year’s Annual Show Grain Competition (Section L).
13. Crops in both local and Regional Championship competitions will be judged on the following scale:
Apparent Yield
20 points for every tonne (per hectare) no limit
Trueness to Type and Purity
15 points
Freedom from Disease
15 points
Evenness and Condition
15 points
Freedom from Weeds
15 points
Farming Practices

Thank You from the Tullamore Show Committee!

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who made the trip to our show this year! It was such a fantastic day, and we’re so grateful you could be part of it. Whether you came to compete, support, or just enjoy the atmosphere, your presence made all the difference.

A big shoutout to everyone who placed in the events—well done! Your hard work and talent really stood out, and it was great to see so much enthusiasm and skill on display.

And of course, we can’t forget our amazing volunteers. Your dedication and effort are what make this show possible every year. We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so thankful for everything you do.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s show, which will be our 100th! It’s going to be something really special, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you. Thanks again for your support, and we’ll see you next year!
