Today the fire went out. I lost my best friend, my heart horse. Southern Cross Heritage Phoenix.
So many highlights, the most talented pony with the biggest heart, also the most challenging at times. The Brumby World today lost one of its finest. Phoenix showed us how talented the brumbies are. With her breath taking movement, love of jumping, from riding in the bush, to giving bridless jumping demos at Equitana in 2022 and being part of the Main Event this pony did it all. Champion pony, promising dressage pony. Taken much too soon, only ten years old. My heart is broken. It was such a privilege to ride you Phoenix . Now at peace ❤️🐴

Great day at Clunes Agricultural Show. Ponies went the opposite way to Geelong Royal with Southern Cross Spellbound taking Champion and Guy Fawkes Pandora taking Reserve. Spell also took Champion Hunter Galloway but missed his Pinto classes

***AGM***
The Annual General Meeting for the Guy Fawkes Heritage Horse Association has been set for Sunday the 10th of March 2024 at 10am at the holding facility 1378 Guyra Road Ebor. All positions will be declared open and we will be looking for some new committee members.
All welcome!!
This will be followed by a general meeting and a working bee. we will be discussing the status of the trapping program and will have an update from NPWS.
Morning tea and a BBQ lunch will be provided. Please RSVP for catering purposes.
