Pavi is about to graduate as a veterinarian from the University of Queensland. Growing up in Oman, Pavi dreamt of becoming a mixed animal vet and during her placement with us she wanted to do a calving. This dream came true this morning with Dr Christian and Pavi helping this mum out of discomfort during the birthing process. Well done!
Glaucoma is a condition caused by increased pressure inside the eye. This can cause significant pain and blindness. “Bindi” came in to see Dr Christian with a large and painful eye. After some treatment this has been improving. Nurse Ash and Nurse Lisa are here checking the eye pressure with our tonometer, a fancy little piece of equipment that has proved invaluable to so many of our patients.
“Nell” is a cheeky little sweetheart who brings some razzle-dazzle and a smile at every visit 😀

A very big welcome to Crystal and Jia who will be spending the next two months with us. This is their longest internship before they graduate as vets from Ontario Veterinary College at The University of Guelph in Canada.🍁 We think they brought the freezing weather with them but look forward to showing them the amazing animals and clients of our hospital and the beautiful South Coast!

A very big congratulations to Nurse Ash who this week completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification. Ash has had long career in the pet industry both in Sydney and then as Manager of Petstock Ulladulla. She is a previous winner of International Salesperson of the Year from thousands of Petstock employees around the world, but her dream was to become a qualified veterinary nurse. With extreme dedication and overcoming some hurdles along the way, she has now done just that. Congrats Ash!

Sphynx cats are a breed known to be playful, entertaining, loving and affectionate, although the face on “Veronica” being nursed by Dr Christian would suggest otherwise 😂
“Harry” the spoodle is feeling fine after receiving his monthly injection to help his allergies. He has so much love to give and is a happy chappy. Dog’s really are man’s best friend- loyal, trustworthy and reliable.
Smiles and cuddles everywhere when “Toby” came in for his first visit today. Client Care Expert Lee, Nurse Rhianna and a photo bombing Nurse Erin were all so taken by the chocolate Cocker Spaniel’s handsome face💕
A nice heartwarming Long Weekend story 🐱This beautiful girl is spending her first night in her new forever home! Last month, Dr Andrew and Vet Mauro performed a dignified home euthanasia for a very aged beloved cat of a dear client. After a lengthy counselling over plans for any future pets, Dr Andrew today picked up “Snowball”, this gorgeous and affectionate girl who had been dumped and being cared for at a friend’s vet clinic in Wollongong 6 months ago. A lovely introduction took place this afternoon with her delighted new owner and now she is already snuggled in on her chest by the warm fire ❤️ Thanks so much The Grange Vet Clinic for all you do looking after so many stray cats!

Whilst on his coastal road trip from Victoria, all “Navi” wanted to do was go fishing with his Dad. He was hooked! After a combination of sedation and local anaesthetic, Dr Andrew and Nursing Assistant Ben managed remove the accidental piercing. We now wait with baited breath to hear of his next travel adventure! 🪝

Dr Romi’s wedding was a very vetty affair- with Dr Rachel, Dr Corinna, Nurse Ash 1 and Ash 2 as bridesmaids and Dr Jess as a witness, more of our team was at the one place at the one time than usual and it was a lovely way to spend time together socially in relaxing circumstances!
