EDIT! HEARTS ARE NOW FULL!

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of NSW are having our heart and eye clinic at the DogsNSW complex Orchard Hills this October 25th. Specialist’s Cardiologist Niek Beijerink and Ophthalmologist Jeff Smith. Open to all breeds. We have spots still available.

Secretaries hut for eyes and Amenities building for hearts.

For all bookings please contact myself on 0408382223.

Hearts $65 for Auscultation and $300 for Echocardiogram. Copies of pedigree required.

Eyes $100 for first dog $70 for each dog thereafter (same owner). Copies of pedigree required.

After booking please deposit into the club account payment one week prior to appointment.

Times will be allocated and put up on fb by October 1st.

Our cardiologist is only available until 1pm so those only having hearts done will be earlier in the day to allow those having hearts and eyes to be done a little later.

Things are in place for our 100 th Show tomorrow.

Come along to see our lovely cavaliers in the show ring with International Judge Keith Brown from New Zealand. Starts at 9.30 am.
At the German Shepherd Rings, Dogs NSW Grounds.
44 LuddenhamRoad, Orchard Hills.
We have a silent auction all set up just waiting for your bids.. thank you too all the contributors who made this possible.

The Cavalier Club Of NSW will be holding a Heart and Eye Clinic with specialists at the DogsNSW grounds on October 25th (Friday).

Eyes $100 for first dog then $70 for second dog and beyond (same owner).

Hearts $65 per dog for auscultation and $300 for Echocardiogram.

Please contact myself (Sandra) on 0408382223 for bookings.

Those travelling distances will be given preference for times however I will endeavour to help out as much as possible where I can.

All money is to be paid at least one week to club account prior to hold spaces.

Other breeds are welcome however club members will take priority.

Day 2 of the Dog Lovers Festival was another amazing day, with crowds two and three deep all day again. Lets face it who would not want to pat a Cavalier. Janice had the crowd laughing with her cheekiness at the "Talk to the Breeder Stage"

We would like to thank the dedicated Committee and members who took the time to man the Breed Stall over the two days. Heather, John and Julie Saturday. Janice and Gail on Sunday with the amazing Sue there both days.

It is always a fun weekend and important as a club to be out mixing with the public and educating them on our beautiful breed.

Our Open show is on at Castle Hill Showground tomorrow 26th May. Judging starts at 10am under the watchful eye of our Judge Mr Blake Wistuba NSW .

To all members

We have recently formed a new committee for the club and have been busy trying to meet our obligations to the members. We have been challenged with time constraints on many issues and have endeavoured to ensure those issues are dealt with within those time constraints. The number one request from many members is that we get shows up and running this year. To do this I have had to take some very quick decisions and take full responsibility for.

I am pleased to announce that we will have –

Open Show Sunday 26th May 2024 at Castle Hill. Judge Mr. Blake Wistuba (NSW). Details will follow.

Championship Show Sunday 15th September 2024 at Orchard Hills. Judge Mr. Keith Brown (NZ). Details will follow.

There will be a General Meeting of the club at 7pm on Tuesday 19th March at the Amenities Building, Orchard Hills. This will be a face to face only but we are working to make Zoom also available for future meetings.

The 2021 Yearbook and Memorial has arrived from the printers. Those that have placed advertising and memorial pages will be receiving their books in the post in the coming days. Thank you to all for submitting such wonderful pages and keeping this book in continuous production since 1978! Thank you also to the artists that have produced the pages, as it goes towards making this book, such a high-quality publication. A limited number of books will be available for purchase at the next 2 Club shows for $25.00, so keep an eye out at the Club stand. Books can be ordered online as well, https://www.cavalierclubnsw.com/shop, expect a 2-3 week turnaround before orders are received in the mail, depending on numbers in stock and if reprints are required.
