Established in 2012, Biomix is one of the largest Australian owned compost providers in Victoria. Using a combination of enclosed vessel composting and open windrow maturation we produce a high quality mature compost product. Biomix has focused on developing solutions for the agricultural markets which can improve soil health, reduce water use and increase plant yield.

Based at Stanhope Victoria, Biomix is a waste recovery company that turns Victorias household greenwaste into organic compost.
Casual and flexible working hours available .Above award wages paid based on experience.
Roles available-maintenance and picking station.

Green waste once it has been decontaminated moves to a 200mm shredding machine called a Terex to bring the material down to a smaller material size before the next stage of the process.

Team working hard today in the picking station "decontaminating" household green-waste that will be matured over the next few months to make organic compost. It all starts here on this conveyor belt as day one and of a 12 week journey to get the microbes excited and convert the green waste material to a rich organic soil.
