Yesterdays Forster Tuncurry Jockey Club Gold Cup meeting witnessed newcomer to the stable ๐พ๐ผ๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ salute the judge and claim honours in his first start for the stable.
After a good spell and a very impressive trial 7 days earlier, the lightly raced Proisir 5yo led from pillar to post to take out The Evermore Pearl.
Going into the run there was lots of improvement in both fitness and looks to come, but aided by a terrific front running ride from young apprentice Bailey Wheeler, the 4kg claimed proved vital in seeing the big boy get the cash at 14-1.
With the win under his belt he now boasts an impressive record of 5 wins from just 15 starts, and with improvement to come he looks to be in for a great campaign for connections.

A big year for the stable securing the most winners weโve ever had since starting off a few years ago, with our runners earning just over $120,000 in prize money.
The stable started to grow and with that came some nice new additions, Most notably the โOld Girlโ ๐๐๐พ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐, who at the ripe old age of 7 managed to get the chocolates 3 times for us, including a showcase victory in June.
Once again ๐๐๐๐๐๐ won 2 races for the team as he did the previous season, continuing on with his honest ways.
Other winners included ๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฝ๐๐๐, who blew them away at Port Macquarie back in September before having a 6 month spell for the majority of the season. With him was โThe Peopleโs Horseโ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐. Who could forget the absolute demolition job he put on in October at his first go over 2000mtrs.
๐๐๐๐ฟ๐๐๐ won his first start for the stable late November in a very handy Class 1 race, while ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฝ๐๐ also managed to pick up a cheque for owners after a gutsy win at Port in March on a very heavy track.
As we look to the future we have a nice handful of unraced 2 and 3yoโs, along with a new addition to the stable in ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐พ๐ผ, a provincial winner and metropolitan place getter, whilst the old favorites such as ๐๐๐พ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ and ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ are showing no signs of slowing up.
I would just like to thank everyone for their continued support, Most notably all of the family, especially the Co-Trainer (thinks she is) Mum, The team at

We are over the moon with the latest addition to the stable, Provincial winner and metropolitan place getter, 'Off Her Roca'.
This daughter of EL ROCA has been a model of consistency of late, this preparation alone finishing 3rd at Canterbury when coming from last on the turn, on top of a 3rd at Wyong and a 4th at Warwick Farm, all of which beaten less than 2 lengths at her first 3 starts from a spell.
She will now have a very short freshen up and with her only disappointing runs this preparation on very heavy tracks, the warmer weather and improving ground couldn't come any quicker as she looks to fit in to Country N.S.W. racing perfectly, and will soon be eligible for TAB Highway Handicaps.

The Old Girl makes it two in a row.

Saturdays Port Macquarie meeting witnessed the 'Old Girl' Secrets No More chalk up her second win in a row in the Benchmark 50 Handicap over 1006 metres.
Jumping from barrier 3, Courtney Bellamy was able to position her on the rails and back off the hot speed, and on straightening took all the shortcuts to get the dream run up the fence.
Once balanced up she really had to dig deep and her will to win certainly showed the last 100 meters where she was able to stick her head in front just before the post and hold on to give Courtney her first winner as a jockey.
This is win number 6 for the 7yo Sequalo mare who shows no signs of slowing up, 5 of those wins coming in the last 12 months. She will most likely have a short freshen up before looking to make it 3 in a row over the Coffs Harbour Cup Carnival.

Secrets No More breaks through for a Showcase victory.

Yesterday's Coffs Harbour Showcase meeting witnessed the 'Old Girl' Secrets No More put away a handy field of Fillies and Mares to claim victory in the Seabreeze Beach Hotel F&M BM58 Showcase Handicap over 1000 metres.
Jumping well, Luke Rolls quickly eased her back to settle behind a wall of front runners, before taking a short cut on the turn and bursting past the front runners and allowing her to drift out to the better going to win by just under 2 lengths at 40-1.
This victory was win number 5 at start 69 for the ever green 7yo mare, Surpassing the $100,000 mark and bringing up almost $30,000 since joining the stable late last year. And with the Coffs Cup Carnival only just around the corner she may just get her chance to better that record.

Honovi leads all the way to victory.
๐ขโซ๏ธ ๐ช๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฅ โซ๏ธ๐ข
Saturday's Clarence River JockeyClub meeting seen the return to the winners stall for the tenacious Honovi, leading all of the way to hold off a wall of challengers.
Aided by a 10/10 Luke Rolls ride, stepping up to the 1730mtrs for the first time proved no problem for the 5yo son of 'Super Easy', over coming a wide gate to roll across and lead, before finding at the top of the straight and toughing it out with the 61.5kgs to claim victory.
In what has been a mixed form preparation, it was great to see him find his form of old and look to have returned to his best which has now seen him win 4 races in under 12 months and just over $45,000 for connections.
