5 beautiful healthy Ruby red and white puppies graced us in the late hours of the 26th November.
It was a long day but eventually a smooth delivery
3 gorgeous girls 🎀
2 sweet boys 🧸
Mum is doing amazing resting up and taking care of her babies.
They will be ready for their forever families on the 21st of January 2024.

Besides the daily sunrise the 30 minutes of the sun kissing the tree tops before setting over the hills is my favourite. Particularly on those evenings I get to witness the magic while straddling the quad, hugging my hubbies back, giving the cows a pat and checking out the pure white fluff that is a new season lamb

It's a shiny new month! Let's...
+ talk kindly about people behind there backs
+ catch our kids doing something good and praise them for it
+ spend more time in nature than the world that is feed to us through our screens
+ give people the benefit of the doubt
+ ask ourselves which parts of our life we want to bring with us into July, and what might not be serving us anymore
+ speak it out loud when we think something kind or supportive about someone
+ remember if it doesn't matter in eternity, it doesn't matter
+ treat our bodies and minds kindly with nourishing foods, sunshine, movement, and kind words
Remember to shine YOUR light because there is no one else on this earth that is YOU

Running through the rain with muddy paws, sandy noses + your sisters ✨🫶
Exposure to new sounds, smells, textures + sensations from an early age with continual positive exposures helps puppies become desensitised to potentially frightening or unfamiliar stimuli. Building a positive association and reducing the likelihood of developing a fear or anxiety related issues later in life.
Today the girls were about to experience:
- cold, wet & muddy paws
- sandy feet & noses
- rain falling on them
- wet coats
- bird sounds
- cows mooing
- large power tools
- motors running
Socialisation with dogs that will be their size when older & bigger dogs again.

I watched on this past weekend as our sweetness experienced the joy + excitement of a simple birthday party with chocolate crackles + fairy bread, catching baby lambs at marking time, pleading with dad to take her instead of someone else on a feed run + soaking in the smell of a chainsaw, saw dust + fresh cut firewood on a blistering cold day.
Each moment I got transported back in time to one of my core childhood memories, a moment in time that I lived for then, now a moment in time that I live to see my child experience ✨

Whether it's milling in the heat, collecting firewood in the rain, moving sheep under the stars, checking stock waters in the snow, filling the kiln under torchlight, hauling hay, overseeing a birth, clearing fence lines, or finding the perfect fallen tree... nobody soaks it up more than this guy ✨ every bit of he's heart and soul is in it, even on he's tiredest days, everyone around him can see it and feel it 🤍
