The Dogzoline pointscore has been officially completed for 2024 and happy to say, my dogs have had a pretty good year. As the pointscore isn’t compulsory it’s really just a bit of fun and a great way to track your show results.

This dog! I absolutely love her! We caught up with a few very good friends this weekend and Candy enjoyed playing with her new best friend Nyx (and Jhys 🤭) We had 2 open shows for trainee judges and the whole weekend was just super relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks Jhys and Shan for choosing to spend your time with me 💙

Where did 2024 go?
BUT what a year it’s been! 🔥
It started early with Dixie earning her Australian Champion title, Jethro also earning his Australian Champion title and Mazi earning her GRAND Champion title. Jethro and Mazi took turns winning Best of Breed over each other and along the way, they picked up some impressive wins.

Alittletail Stumpies excitedly announced 2 litters this year with the help and support of a very dear friend and knowledgeable mentor.
DIXIE x FLOKI welcomed 4 precious little pups into our world and we were very fortunate to find a keeper in the litter. CANDY (Andi / Florence 🤭) is a beautiful little girl with a temperament to die for and many other endearing attributes. The future is exciting for her and she’s already making her mark in the show ring as a Baby Puppy. Early next year will see her up in the Minor class and eligible for points. Many thanks to Karen West for making this litter possible 💙

MAZI x JETHRO also became parents, eventually welcoming 3 adorable little pups earth side in typical Mazi fashion….
There was a lot to love about all the pups but we decided not to keep one this time and all pups went to amazing homes with working potential. I’ll post updates when they are available.

Results from this year have meant that JETHRO has qualified for POTY & DOTY and CANDY has qualified for POTY. This will take place in January 2025.

Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported us this year. You know who you are. Bring on 2025 ❣️

Jethro, Candy and I ventured off to Armidale for 5 shows and to catch up with some friends. Candy went about it all with her usual (over) enthusiasm and picked up 1x Baby in Group. Now her cousins have all left home we will need to get back to training 🤭
Jethro improved with every show and picked himself up 1x Junior in Group in very tough competition. It was great to see some Queenslanders travelling down and made for excellent entry numbers. A huge thank you to Ellyn Taylor for the videos and livestreams. Judging by the views they were extremely popular. Thanks to Shan Wink for helping me with the dogs and to both ladies for the company and laughs. What a great weekend we had 💙🎄🐾 Thanks Goldmaid Images for the photo of Jethro

Pups are full steam ahead now at 5 1/2 weeks. They are loving life and the new adventures and challenges. Today was their first play in the house yard and they decided tug was a great game to play 🤩 #alittletailstumpies #cutepuppies #puppies #australianstumpytailcattledog #astcd

Puppies are 3 weeks old today! As you can tell, they are able to see their surroundings, each other and recognize toys. They play ‘bitey face’ with each other and follow mum around the whelping box. They are starting to vocalize which I find incredibly funny and like to voice their opinion when Mazi toilets them 🤣 This afternoon will be their first feed of mushy kibble and they have been licking mince and yoghurt purée off my finger. They are now in their socialization stage so we put a different object in the box each day. We will begin lots of new things next week but that’s another post. Hope you’ve enjoyed the update 💙
