Will do tricks for treats 🤤

We love teaching tricks in our household, and it’s a great way to try out new treats to find out which ones are a hit (most recently it’s our new mackerel bites 🐟). Currently we are working on a jump into my arms!

Little Echo trying a furry roo ear 😍

These furry treats are a fantastic source of manganese to support healthy bones and cartilage and the extra fur adds insoluble fibre, making them gut friendly and can help with natural expression of our dogs a**l glands (because let’s be real, nobody wants to do that manually 🤢)

What’s your favourite thing about enrichment? 🧠

I LOVE that enrichment is such a simple and easy way to add an extra bit of mental stimulation into your dogs day, and is an awesome alternative to eating straight out of a bowl. 👅

Our dogs all love to eat their food as quickly as possible, so I also love that feeding their meals in an enrichment toy helps slow them down and lengthen their mealtimes to a more reasonable time 😂

And finally, I absolutely love the enrichment community on Instagram and all of the amazing ways that people transform their dogs meals into works of art. There are some seriously talented and creative pet parents out there 😍

I love going to the beach, creek, mudflats, and through our local bush walks knowing that no matter how dirty, sandy or muddy her collar and lead get it’s only going to take me seconds to get it clean again 🧼

Less time cleaning and washing and more time out adventuring - I call that a win! 🐕

Lickimats are life!

We use lickimat products almost everyday in this household, whether it be a new Yoggie pot, a UFO, a wobbler, or one of the classic originals - we are a bit obsessed 😍

As someone with a busy schedule, I love being able to offer the dogs something in the morning to keep them busy and to help them chill throughout the day before we get to a walk or training in the evening 🐕

BEHIND THE BRAND

Hi everyone, my name is Liv and these two are my dogs, Luna and Cosmo.

A little bit about us! 🐕

I’m currently an NDTF and CERT Academy student, both of which are dog behaviour and training organisations who teach students and provide accreditations to those working in the dog training industry. I’ve owned dogs for as long as I have been alive, starting with two border collies, Indy and Bella, and then two westies, Archie and Tilli. In 2019 we welcomed Luna into the family and she was the first dog who was entirely my own. As a result, I spent COUNTLESS hours researching herding breed dogs and how to satisfy their needs in addition to how to ensure Luna was as healthy as possible. From enrichment, training, and fresh food feeding - I was dipping my toe into it all to allow Luna to be the best version of herself. 🙌

In 2021 we brought home Cosmo, endearingly known as boofy (short for boofhead) and I joined an obedience and training class on the Gold Coast at his breeders recommendation. These classes showed me a whole new side of dog ownership and made me fall in love with training and understanding what’s going on inside our dogs head. 🧠

After spending so much time working with my dogs, Liv and Lunes was born - a true culmination of my passion for dogs and ensuring our dogs can be the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves. From healthy dehydrated treats, food-based enrichment, and training equipment, everything single thing sold at Liv and Lunes is something I have personally used with my dogs and that I LOVE for a whole range of different reasons. ❤️

Liv and Lunes allows me to share my love and passion for dogs with all of you, and I’m so grateful to every single person we meet who shares this passion and supports my business in any capacity! At the end of the day, my goal is to help your dog be the best version of themselves and to lead a long and happy life full of adventure. ✨
