Hollyford Park is thrilled to present our first foal for the 2024 breeding season.

Born this morning

We are thrilled with this filly, she is just what we asked for and Misty did us proud. This will be the last foal for Misty as she is now 23 yo, so she will retire happy and health after this foal knowing she has gifted this stud with 3 stunning daughters (all by different sires) who have been retained for future breeding. In fact one of her daughters is currently in foal to "Osory Boi George" and is due early 2025 and this one (c**t or filly will be for sale).

We have a total of 3 more foals due in coming months by "Osory Boi George" and all will be available for purchase (c**t or filly).

As well as the foals I also have a Chestnut yearling Welsh A gelding who is currently listed in the Welsh Society Online Auction.

I purchased Sea Eagle as a weanling and had no intention of ever selling him, however, due to a change in direction (no longer breeding Welsh Bs and downsizing arabian ponies) he is not being used. Sea Eagle is currently wasting in the paddock and would love a couple of wives.

Sea Eagle is registered Welsh and Arabian Pony, is liver chestnut and approx. 12.3hh. He has mainly paddock served mares and will cover mares up to 15.1hh. Sea Eagle is great to handle on his own, he has mares in paddocks all around him (not directly next to him) and he is fine. He is a little protective of his mares when you paddock him with them, but he is not at all nasty will just stand between them and you.

His progeny include: Hollyford Park Gianna (Australian Champion Arabian Pony), Hollyford Park Marcello, HP Orlando, HP Matteo, HP Khristian, HP Jade, HP Kiara, HP Lorette, HP Jackson & HP Gilbee (Photos of some below)

Well it has taken two years but I have finally updated the website.

Hollyford Park is a small stud located in West Gippsland Victoria that breeds a small number of quality animals each year.  These animals are versatile and are suited to both saddle and halter careers.

14yo Liver Chestnut Stallion. I purchased Sea Eagle as a weanling and I had no intention of selling him, however due to downsizing and concentrating on my Welsh A's he is now going to waste in the paddock.

Sea Eagle is in paddock condition, he is unbroken but well handled, he was shown as a weanling by the breeder. To date he has run with the mares and easily covers mare 14.3-15hh. This boy has movement to burn and he is definitely passing his movement onto his foals as they can also all move.

He will only be sold to a suitable knowledgeable home. Comes with both registration papers.

Issy is a brown, 12.2-3hh, triple registered Riding Pony, Arabian Riding Pony and Part Welsh mare. Issy is great to handle on the ground and has a wonderful easy going temperament, she is unbroken as she was purchased for breeding purposes. I am only selling this mare as she is being wasted here as I am reducing my breeding program to concentrate on my Welsh A’s. I am looking for a long term breeding home for this girl, someone who can take advantage of her bloodlines and temperament to breed some wonderful foals.

Nat is a rising 3 yo registered Arabian Pony (AHSA) and Part Welsh (WPCS) gelding. He will possibly mature 13-13.1hh and is currently approx. 12.2hh. He has an exceptional temperament and has done all the basics (Leads, ties up, rugged, bathed etc). He will eventually make a wonderful saddle pony (he is still young), his temperament is exceptional and with time he will make a great kids pony (though not an absolute beginner more suited as second pony).

Due to my wish to significantly downsize my breeding stock and concentrate on my Welsh A ponies I am considering selling my Welsh B Stallion. He will only be available to an experienced home as though good to handle he is not super quiet.

Sea Eagle comes with Welsh and Arabian Pony registration (very low percentage arabian). He is approximately 12.3hh and Liver Chestnut. He has mainly paddock served mares and will cover mares up to 15.1hh.

I have mainly been breeding purebred arabian mares to him, but he has also bred several Welsh B’s. I have owned Sea Eagle since he was a weanling and was never planning to sell him but he is now being wasted. He has basically been a paddock bum most of his life but did attend a couple of foal shows with his breeder before I got him.

Georgie (Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion) at end of Week 3 of breaking in process with Caroline Ferguson. Can't wait to get him out under saddle later in the year.

Caroline does an exceptional job and Georgie is sensational, they make a wonderful pair.

I have a rising 3 yo Bay Arabian Pony/Part Welsh Gelding that will be available in the coming weeks. He is currently approx 12.3hh and should mature 13.1-2hh. He will be registered Arabian Pony and Part Welsh (sorting out paperwork at moment).
He has had lots of groundwork, - leads, ties up, bathed, rugged, stabled.
I have to sort out feet trim, branding and float loading and then he will be available for a new home.
Very sensible pony and very quick learner. Will be getting photos over next week for anyone who maybe interested.
