DEV Matchu Picchu is a quality young Warmblood gelding born in 2023 by the exceptional Yalambi’s Messiah, out of a Corofino II mare. Expected to mature around 16.2hh, he is a well-bred youngster with all the attributes to develop into an exciting performance horse.

Matchu Picchu has been well handled leads, ties up, is good for the farrier and has been introduced to wearing a roller, giving him a solid foundation as he continues his education.

Like others from the line, Matchu Picchu is a sensitive and intelligent young horse with a willing attitude and an excellent trainable mind. He shows all the attributes to develop into a quality performance horse.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – JUMP TRAINING DAY

We’re looking at hosting a Jump Training Day with an updated format.

The day will still run with the same setup riders are used to — a fully numbered course, external warm-up jumps, and heights set to suit each group.

What’s different:
We’re moving to a format that provides a dedicated 30-minute time slot (maximum of three riders) to train over the course at your own pace.

Riders will have access to the warm-up area 30 minutes prior to their allocated course time, ensuring horses are prepared and ready to make full use of their session.

Within your allocated session you can:
• Jump multiple rounds
• Repeat lines or adjust distances
• Work at your chosen height

The aim is to provide quality course practice in a structured but relaxed environment — a great opportunity for riders and young horses to gain valuable mileage without the pressure of competition flow.

Pricing:
First rider – $40
Each additional rider – $25

We’re intending to run this across both days of a weekend.

6yo Stock Horse Mare – Polo / Polox / All-Rounder Prospect

Smart 6-year-old stock horse mare, approx. 15hh.
By Berragoon Bon Jovi out of DEV BB Bonet – good breeding and a nice type.

She has played a light season of polocrosse, been to numerous polocrosse practices, lead ponied for breakers and has also stick and balled with a polo mallet. She is a reliable flat running mare and works well around other horses.

This mare has a good temperament, is athletic and willing, but is still green, so she will suit an experienced rider to continue her education.

A genuine young horse with plenty of potential. Only for sale due to too many horses in the paddock and not enough time to give her the work she deserves.
