Our hearts are shattered, and we are tired.

Rescue is hard, especially when those we have worked so hard to save and bring into care to offer them a loving and safe future become critically ill.

We are fighting hard to save them, but we really need help.

Our vet bills are incredibly high … please consider donating to help us.

This past week our rescue has been hit extremely hard with several emergencies we did not plan for.

We dedicate our lives to rescue … we promise to give our best to those in our care but now we need your help.

These emergencies have depleted our resources and our finances. We need to raise $5,000 to help several fragile rabbits who desperately require medical attention, and we cannot do it without the help of our wonderful rabbit community.

Recently we intaked the smallest member of our rescue, Cheese. 🧀 Cheese is a very sweet boy, who is friendly around people (put prefers a comfy distance) who is looking for a fresh start to life! If you would like to take Cheese home, you will need a safe and comfy enclosure for him. So far Cheese has flown solo, so he has no been trialed with other mice. Let us know if you would like to trial Cheese. 💛

We love our delivery of fresh grass and vegetables, and so do our rabbits and guinea pigs. Thank you to our wonderful community members for providing our animals all the fresh yummies. Freshly cut grass is incredible for gastrointestinal health, we are very grateful to be given some for our animals. 🌱

Did an emergency rescue whilst I’m off (couldn’t help myself). 🩶

Just over a month ago we assisted in the rescue of and intaked 60 guinea pigs, whilst it took a lot out of our resources, it was worth it for their safety. Thankfully many have found placements and homes already. The remaining in our rescue have safely been able to give birth and raise their young. Making sense of the chaos, establishing the needs of each individual animal and work out a plan for each one has taken some time, so I appreciate your patience whilst we advertise their adoptions. Next week we will start posting their individual information, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like more information on them before hand. 💛
