Cheese is a very sweet boy, who is friendly around people (put prefers a comfy distance) who is looking for a fresh start to life!
If you would like to take Cheese home, you will need a safe and comfy enclosure for him.
So far Cheese has flown solo, so he has no been trialed with other mice.

We love our delivery of fresh grass and vegetables, and so do our rabbits and guinea pigs.
Thank you to our wonderful community members for providing our animals all the fresh yummies.
Freshly cut grass is incredible for gastrointestinal health, we are very grateful to be given some for our animals.

Did an emergency rescue whilst Iβm off (couldnβt help myself). π©Ά
Just over a month ago we assisted in the rescue of and intaked 60 guinea pigs, whilst it took a lot out of our resources, it was worth it for their safety.
Thankfully many have found placements and homes already. The remaining in our rescue have safely been able to give birth and raise their young.
Making sense of the chaos, establishing the needs of each individual animal and work out a plan for each one has taken some time, so I appreciate your patience whilst we advertise their adoptions.
Next week we will start posting their individual information, please donβt hesitate to contact us if you would like more information on them before hand. π
Little Nimbus is back from vet care, and feeling so much better!
Thank you to The Veterinary Hospital North for your constant care of our animals. πβ€οΈ

At only two weeks of age, Butterfly was found dumped in a cardboard box with her two brothers, Zeke and Ziggy.
We are incredibly grateful to their foster carer for raising them with so much love and affection. We canβt possibly help the animals in our care without the help of our amazing foster carers.
If you would like to offer a rabbit in need a home, even just temporarily, please reach out to us.

5 REASONS TO ADOPT OR FOSTER
πΎ You save a life!
Too often rescues are full, leaving vet clinics and councils with no option but to euthanise animals. If more people adopted from a rescue instead of buying pets from breeders or pet stores, the number of pets being euthanized would dramatically reduce.
Becoming a foster carer offers hope and a second chance to a pet in need. It offers a soft landing, a place of safety.
πΎ Stop the breeders!
There are too many factory-style breeding facilities that prioritise profit over animal welfare. These poor animals are housed in poor conditions with very little medical care and poor diets, often leaving these animals sick and/or traumatised.
πΎ Adopting is more affordable!
It is expensive buying a pet from a breeder or a pet store plus you will still be required to pay a vet to have your pet spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adoption fees often include all these costs.
πΎ You are fully supported!
When you purchase a pet from a pet store or breeder your journey ends once you leave with your pet. However, when you adopt or foster a pet from a rescue you have a support system.
Foster carers have already been working with your pet and have become familiar with the animalβs personality, likes and dislikes. The support and information from the rescue helps ease the transition, and often rescues offer a trial period as they want the animal to go to a happy home.
If you would like more information regarding adopting or fostering with UTWTR, please get in touch with us.
