Our Grano Acabado herd has access to grain, but pasture is essential to their finishing. As a result, the seasonal conditions affect the turn-off, each vintage, and we usually aim to finish processing Grano Acabado stock before Winter.

We do, however, still have one animal available this year. Please get in contact if you would want to grab a quarter, a Smaller 20kg pack, or a 10kg starter pack.

This will be the final Grano Acabado for a few months. Our harvest for the 2024/25 season won't begin until later in September.

Another happy customer. Whilst we love it when our human customers embrace our offal in their cooking, it also warms our hearts to see it used for their furred and feathered friends. This little buff banded rail chick is feasting on a crumble mix of Chimney Hill Beef heart, egg, insectivore, and spinach, to aid its recovery before being released back into the wild. Offal is included free of charge in our beef packs.

Weaning. A noisy bunch but they are settling down quickly.

With 160mm over the past 48 hours, the gullies here at Druim de Anu are full. Blackfellow Creek is now flowing back into the paddock. With even heavier falls at Ostara and much of the district on flood watch it will be interesting to see where Hookey Creek gets to.

Boot camp! Who needs a gym!
