Closely related to the “handsomest bird on the coast” (The Pied Oystercatcher), this also very attractive Sooty Oystercatcher showed me it’s best angle before turning back to the task at hand. As you can see it caught not oysters, but some tasty little periwinkles during this splashy sunset session..😉
