Anthony Cosgriff Racing is based at Ballarat Turf Club's world class facilities. We have saddled winnners from 975m to 4800m, in Australia and the UK.

Anthony Cosgriff has worked with top class racehorses all over the world, from Perth to New Zealand, Kentucky to North Yorkshire. As is common with some of Europe’s top trainers he is a fully qualified and experienced equine veterinarian. Since Anthony Cosgriff Racing started we have worked hard to bring all this experience to bear on horses who have often been unwanted rejects from other stables.

With our very horse-friendly country environment and 24-hour hands-on care we have achieved some real triumphs along the way. We feel very lucky to have some terrific owners and we aim to repay their faith in us by constant communication as well as winners. A great day's racing in front of a huge crowd at Avoca yesterday and the stable's recent good form continued with a 2nd and a 3rd. After recent placings at Mount Gambier and Gunbower we look to have several hooves on the till!

It's been a busy week for the stable synthetic racing, highlighted by Spot The Grey's storming effort from last to sn**ch 2nd over 1500m under Theo Ladd, while iron horse Attaboom was typically brave from the front to hold 3rd over 1200m under Eoin Walsh. The team is definitely knocking on the door!

IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT when we saw this beautiful filly by champion sire Pierro. Out of very talented multi-metro winner Kiss And Cry, this filly's whole page is wall-to-wall winners. Lovely walker, really well muscled, correct and perfect on xray and scope - cannot believe we picked her up for such terrestrial money. Limited shares available, message us ASAP!

Congratulations to the owners of Attaboom after his gutsy win today at Kerang, holding off a wall of late challengers from the front under English jockey Oliver Stammers (who bagged his first Australian win at just his second ride down under!)

It was a thoroughly deserved maiden win for the ultra-honest Attaboom who had run an amazing nine 2nds and four 3rds before today.

A sad farewell to one of our favourite horses and a thorough gentleman to work with Reynaire. Bought for just $2500 early last year, Reynaire won twice for us and amazingly racked up $65000 in prizemoney as well as $30000 in sales vouchers.
After looking the winner at the top of the straight last week Reynaire did not finish strongly and returned home with heat in a tendon. Given his previous history of leg issues we took the immediate decision to retire Reynaire and he has gone off to his new life as a pleasure horse. We'll miss him but he thoroughly deserves his happy retirement.
