Tricky Dogs is taking a Sabbatical to allow for some personal time for the boss.

We will be back with more classes, activities and one on one consultations.

We are also taking a break from the market but will be back with all your dog and cat needs.

Officers attached to the New South Wales Dog Unit, Mounted Unit and Tactical Operations Unit have formed a guard of honour to farewell serving Police Dog Dravec, who died late last year.

PD Dravec, a Belgian Malinois, commenced service with the Dog Unit in 2017. He was accredited as a General Purpose Dog on 24 April, 2018. During his service, he was also accredited as a Public Order Dog and as a Tactical Dog.

Police Dog Dravec passed away while off-duty on Monday, 26 December 2022, aged five years.

PD Dravec spent the majority of his service working in the Wollongong/Illawarra/South Coast regions, but also worked alongside the Tactical Operations Unit on a wide range of tactical jobs across NSW. The cause of death is still being determined.

Our deepest sympathies are with PD Dravec’s partner and the entire Police Dog Unit.

If your doggy has an upset tummy Turkey and Pumpkin should help. If Turkey is off limit for your doggy, use white fish. Fish is great.

𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗡 & 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘

Vets often recommend chicken & rice when a dog has an upset tummy. Rice is one of those ingredients that just isn't species appropriate so I was stoked when highly respected American Vet Dr. Karen Becker promoted the use of boiled Turkey & Pumpkin instead because it just does a better job as well as being more species appropriate.

Swap out the turkey for a white fish if the turkey isn't appropriate for your dog.
