Both have been hip and elbow scored
Jade CHEDS. 3/4 PennHIP 0.32
Chuch CHEDS 1/2 PennHIP 0.42 both under breed average ❤️

We had 8 puppies. One sadly passed away
It’s been touch and go for a couple others
The weights were very light on 130g being smallest and 220g the heaviest One girl struggled with breathing but is now a piggy and putting on weight after many bottle feeds
Lovely markings

So all happy here at the moment

A few people have now declined a pup from this litter for whatever reasons. That’s ok
So we do have puppies available even though I had 12 people on waitlist. Wow times have changed 🙏

So as per our news. Yes we are on the move. Wasn’t planned but it’s what we need to do

We are taking Jade, Bindi and Chuck with us

We won’t have anymore litters till next year after we have settled into new home wherever that may be
I also have hip surgery coming up in October so I need time to recover after that

I have contacted everyone who was waiting for a Jade puppy, if I have missed anyone please message me.

As you are all aware we are selling and moving the last 2 weeks I have been busy finishing off some painting inside. They come next week to take photos and officially on the market

Well my eosinophilic condition thought it would throw a spanner in the works. Off to hospital Wednesday night with food stuck in esophagus got a little concerned when I couldn’t breathe , Pete told me later I was turning blue.🥲. But thank 🙏🙏 goodness I am still here to tell the story got home late yesterday afternoon sore and sorry

And guess what is happening as we speak Yes the well awaited litter between Jade and Chuck are on the way.

I will get back to all those on the waiting list maybe over the weekend to confirm what puppies we have

I have been super busy painting to put house on market today and just checked emails

Exciting it’s arrived. My certificate

Obviously with everything going on I won’t be doing anything in this area until we sell and move and settle into new home

EDIT. Luna will be coming with us. She has bonded to me and trusts me that I can’t see her flourishing in another home. It would take a lot of work. 🙏❤️

The gorgeous Luna she is 16months old
This girl will need a special caring understanding experienced border collie person
We bred Luna who went off to new family but was brought back to us. No fault of her own.
She will need to go to a quiet home with or without another dog. She is fine with cats
It has taken her a bit to be ok with Lachie
When I got her back she was a highly strung girl. Her cortisol and adrenaline was high. She needs a calm household. She is a very sooky girl. She us very attached to me because I have put a lot of work with her to get her back to this lovely girl she now is. She is happy go lucky bit can’t be in a noisy stressful home.

Our beautiful boy Tyson
He is 9 years old but plenty of life in him
He has lived with my son and grandchildren for a couple of years so is good with children and other dogs. He is desexed He is a big smoochy boy. Would suit many homes but not with cats. He is the only dog I have who doesn’t like cats PM me for more details

Ok this is Heidi she is 5years old
And her son Dusty who is 8months old

All our dogs can go to individual homes or these 2 would be fine in a home together

Heidi is a very sweet loving girl. Loves her humans. She would be suited to either a residential or bigger property. If she was on a area with sheep she will herd the sheep. Her only vice is she will bark at motorbikes or sirens. Otherwise I loving girl

Dusty I was keeping for my breeding program
He is clear of everything and a Choc and red carrier. He is a seal border collie so his adult cost may have lighter patches of hair

This is a very difficult post 🥲🙏

As some of you are aware Pete hasn’t been well, and we pray he improves. But we have made the decision to sell up and move to the mid north coast where life will hopefully be easier.

So In saying that we will be looking for suitable homes for a few dogs 🥲🥲🥲🥲

🤩 the optimal time for a border collie is 12months and over !!!!

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA)🏥 has just announced their new spay & neuter guidelines.🙀 Due to growing evidence of adverse health effects of traditional gonadectomy (spay/neuter) and increases in cancers and joint disorders, WSAVA suggest the best practice for RESPONSIBLE pet parents is to leave dogs and cats unaltered (intact). Additionally noting, spaying or neutering a dog younger than 6 months of age is NOT recommended because of an increase of detrimental health risks. Acknowledging in some circumstances, such as rescues and shelters, where leaving an animal intact is not an option, they stress the importance of education and acceptance of newer, alternative sterilization techniques that have less long-term health concerns. 🙌

Awareness Post!!!!

Sadly, this heartbroken family lost their beautiful 7 year old Border Collie named Kindle on Wednesday when she suffocated in a chip bag. Wendy Jordan, a professional dog trainer, says, "I can’t write now. It’s too raw. I have warned people for years about Pet Suffocation. I’m a dog trainer/business owner by profession. And today, because I left a chip bag on a table, in an area I thought the dogs didn't have access to but knew they sometimes could get through, my best dog of my pack is gone. She opened the gate to the deck, went up the steps, got the chip bag, took it down the steps, even spilling some of the chips, and then somehow accessed the inside and suffocated. She was right beside my gate where she is used to entering and exiting the yard. I’m devastated. I may never buy a bag of chips again. I used to worry about this when my kids were young, and I warned my kids when they left home with their dogs, and yet one freak accident, and I’m the one it happens to."

Even though someone may already know about pet suffocation and take all safety precautions, accidents can still happen. We can only do our best. Kindle was a very determined pup. Her story will help save other pets from this happening to them. Please help us spread awareness. Thank you.
