Today I did a consult via Zoom with the owner of this gorgeous 9 week old German Shepherd. πŸ₯° His owner is keen to use a holistic approach with his health and so I discussed nutrition, training methods, herbal supplements and essential oils.

It fills my heart with joy to be able to help animals live long and healthy lives. πŸ•πŸ₯° It's something I've devoted the last 21 years of my life to. πŸ–€

I've been using essential oils on animals for 21 years, both in a personal role and as a practitioner. But wait! Doesn't the internet say that essential oils have caused harm to animals? 😯 Yes, and that's because a poor quality was used. Quality is EVERYTHING! If you are using a brand and you can't visit their farms across the world, and you can't visit their distilleries, and you can't visit their testing laboratory that tests for purity, then I wouldn't be using them on yourself or your animals.

The only brand I trust is Young Living, as do holistic doctors and vets. I've just finished a trip to the U.S. to visit one of their farms, distilleries and testing laboratory so I know first hand that these oils are the BEST!

Today I got to reunite with "Pippa", one of my foster dogs from a few years ago.😍 I have kept in touch with the owner who adopted her, and she decided to book Pippa in for a Canine Raindrop Technique as she felt that Pippa was a bit sore in the back. Pippa absolutely loved the massage part and was noticeably relaxed following the session. πŸ’€ For upkeep, I have recommended a herbal supplement for Pippa that will reduce any soreness and have her feeling on top of the world! Isn't she a cutie πŸ₯°

Yesterday I did a house call to visit two beautiful cats "Oki" and "Lucy". Their loving owner was wanting to help them both via natural means. Oki (pictured left) was a rescue cat and had suffered an injury many years ago prior to being adopted by his current owner. As he is getting older, this past injury is starting to cause him some soreness (possibly arthritis) in his hindquarters. I petted him with an oil for pain and also for inflammation, and the owner has just started him on a natural supplement I recommend for this condition.

Lucy (pictured right) is 7 months old and and an absolute livewire! To the point that no one in the house is getting much sleep, and items on shelves don't stand a chance! So I petted her with a calming oil and she lapped up the attention.

I touched base with the owner this morning and she said Oki seemed to be sitting better on his hindquarters, and Lucy slept all evening and everyone in the household was able to get a good night's sleep!

Today's client was a 5 year old Jack Russell called "Dusty". πŸ’πŸ• Over the last couple of years he has been displaying signs of separation anxiety, and his owners were looking for help as they have an upcoming trip and Dusty will be cared for by a relative. They were hoping to get on top of things before heading away.

Firstly I addressed the cause of separation anxiety in dogs, and gave some training tips to follow at home. But I also felt Dusty's nervous system needed calming as he was on high alert constantly. So he was treated to a Canine Raindrop Technique. ☺️

In the beginning he wasn't sure about it, but part way through he started to calm and was more accepting of the pampering. The owner was able to notice a difference from beginning to end. ☺️

Dusty's owner will continue with the daily application of a calming oil as ongoing support for his nervous system, as well as incorporating some training techniques into his everyday life. πŸ’–

Skye received the royal treatment today. πŸ‘‘ She is a 7 year old Mini Foxie x Chihuahua and for a few years she's been hyperactive - not able to sit still, constantly licking everything and barking reactively to all sounds. Her owner heard I work with animals using essential oils and booked her in for a Canine Raindrop Technique. πŸ• I love how this technique has the ability to highlight what's going on, and for Skye it seemed that her behaviour was due to possible pain and the emotions resulting from that. The treatment took place on my amethyst heat mat for additional benefits and I used my pendulum to uncover further answers. By the time it concluded, Skye was so chilled that her owner was blown away and wondered where her old hyperactive dog had gone! πŸ˜…
