Where do I start with an OTT?
Foundation training is so important for any horse. Starting with basic transitions from halt to walk. Then transitioning from that walk into a march or extended walk and back down. Then progressing up through the gaits.
If you were to do this with your horse you can find out their strengths and weaknesses and work alot of different muscle groups.
Stop increasing speed when you find resistance or coordination issues and work on that level.
No horse is perfect, but this is a good foundational exercise to give purpose to any ridden session ❤️

After a lovely ride working on leg yeild and collection foundations, Shaggy and I decided to have some fun.
School holidays means kids are at home so I wanted to check his temperament and I was not disappointed.
Sweet, willing and confident... Shaggy is going to be one hell of an all-rounder ❤️🐎
