🌪️Storm’s first outing of the year!!!! ⛈️ • • Headed out to @cpmequestrian with @georgiaroseeventing for a little bit of cross-country. • Firstly Storm loaded up like a pro and dealt with a new friend joining him midway on his journey! Marvin and Storm quickly became fast friends. • Despite the rain the boys were brilliant! • Storm jumped a heap of jumps far more confidently than the last time he was out. • The ditch, I didn’t think we would get over! I got off and tried to get him to follow me, tried following Georgia- I felt like it wasn’t going to happen. • Then when I got a bit of speed behind us- ping!!!! And he jumped it multiple times! Well 2024 you were a pain in my rear….started off with a surprise delivery of Plum, early and down in the neighbours! With her gorgeous markings came lots of love….March brought sadness when she was hospitalised for 3 weeks with Salmonella. She beat it and is still here….i still haven’t recovered financially from it and it made the rest of 2024 really difficult.So far more vetting than I’d like!I did manage to get out eventing again on Foxy and even managed to finally step up to 1* by the end of the season!Both Storm and Pippa made it out and about, with the former even doing a couple of showjump comps!•The morning after Plum was admitted to hospital, I was locumming and took home a 1 week old kitten-> I was a bit vulnerable. She eventually got named Cheryl the Feral by a vet nurse as she was ferocious to bottle feed. After getting ringworm, giving it to me and Pickle she stayed here for way too long and now is a permanent fixture and we love her!•Fire had her second foal!!!! CLEO! full sister to Pippa.Pandora also got in foal for the first time- Due Feb 2025.
