This is Peru, he was on the wrong side of her doggie brothers need for a stress relief.

Came in to see us as her fur would crackle and pop when touched.
Otherwise we were fine and happily eating and drinking.
We had also made up with our brother.

On examination all seemed fine other than this crackle and pop when the skin was touched all over the body.
X-ray showed gas layer between the skin and the skeleton and muscle.

This is known as subcutaneous emphysema.
It should self resolve over then next couple of weeks.

We welcome our new vet Dr Pete! Hailed from the UK 12 weeks ago, he is slowly learning the Aussie lingo 😁Pete has fitted in very well with the Victor Vet family.
He has 2 Frenchies back in the UK and loves helping fellow flat face breed owner with their issues.
He also has a passion for wildlife and doing what he can to help out.
He has come over with his wife a young daughter and they like exploring and being outside whenever possible, whether that be on land or sea 🌊.
