I see a lot of cool stuff on my travels walking dogs in the Redlands. But today seeing a massive long neck turtle laying eggs in the middle of Thornlands ( she was definitely bigger than a Dinner plate!) is right up there as one of the coolest! At first I thought she might be sick or in trouble so I tied up Nala close by in a safe spot to check on the turtle only to see she was absolutely fine and was laying eggs!! Right next to the play ground 🤷❤️

What a beautiful spot Ziggy and I have discovered. He loves his 1 hour weekly adventures with a bush walk and a swim at the creek. Sometimes we go to the beach but the bushwalks are currently our favorite as they are so peaceful and quiet , it feels like we have the whole forest to ourselves! It's been difficult navigating the heat this week and I have needed to postpone quite a few jobs but not all! with some shady ( empty) dog parks and very early starts I have been able to give quite a few of my dogs lots of love this week ,❤️ let's hope for some cooler weather next week!!

Sweet Punk is a rescue dog who has been lucky enough to find herself recently adopted into an absolutely amazing home. I am working with punk and her new adoptive family on basic foundation skills and her dog reactivity. Punk is coming along extremely well! She has settled well into her new home and is learning her new routine, to trust and respect her family and is a lot less reactive to dogs on walks. I'm excited to see how far she will come in the new year!!

It was a busy Christmas time for Paw Wise. He are some of the gorgeous pets I was lucky enough to visit over the Christmas break. I'm away at the moment having my own holiday but will be back in full swing when I get back mid Jan :)

About Fiona

Hi! I am Fiona the owner and operator of Paw Wise. I am a delta qualified behavioural dog trainer with 20 years experience in the animal welfare industry. For the last 12 years I have been employed as an Animal Rehabilitation Trainer for a leading animal welfare organisation primarily dealing with abused, abandoned and neglected dogs. I am still currently working part time in this role. I am extremely experienced walking and working with dogs with all sorts of behaviour issues, strengths and sizes, I can confidently manage dogs other walkers may not have the ability or experience to and will do it in a kind and loving manner. Large, strong and reactive dogs are not a problem.

I have 12 years Dog training experience working with dogs who are anxious, aggressive, fearful or just over the top and out of control. There aren't many behaviours I haven't dealt with first hand, So feel free to contact me to discuss any behavioural or training issues you might be having with your pooch.

I am extremely passionate about all animals and have experience caring for and working with most domestic pets so you can be assured your furred, feathered or scaled friends will be well cared for on my watch while you are away. I have a young family though so overnight stays are not something I can provide but daily drop ins are not a problem.
