Lest we forget the ANZACs and the animals who fought by their sides. From pigeons to camels, donkeys, horses, dogs and cats. We will remember them.

Dogs worked as messengers, guards and companions. One such dog was a bulldog named Digger, who accompanied his owner, Sergeant James Harold Martin, during his service overseas in the Australian Imperial Force. After Sergeant Martin's service, he and Digger settled in Sydney in 1918, where Digger lived to an old age.

The School For Pets team would like to wish you and your furry family members a happy and safe Easter! 🍫🐣🐰

Please remember chocolate safety around your cats and dogs, where as little as 50g can be fatal. Tell tale signs of chocolate poisoning include:

🤮 Vomiting
🤒 Diahorrea
🏃 Hyper-activity
😟 Excessive urination
🖤 Accelerated heartrate

If you're worried that your pet has ingested chocolate, call your vet immediately and seek medical attention.

Other foods that can cause health implications for your pet include hot cross buns, onions, cooked bones, fatty barbecue leftovers and corn cobs.
