🎄 On the 11th Day of our Christmas Greyhounds — we’re celebrating John’s adoption and his 2nd Birthday Pawty with his loving new family, Anita, David and George! 🎂🥳

“Meet John, our newest addition to the family. We wanted another dog to give our existing, sweet-natured golden retriever named George a companion while we’re at work. From the outset, John took to us, our existing dog and our home. He is a whole lot of fun, very cheeky, friendly, sweet and loves to sleep. He is the perfect addition to our household. We absolutely adore our Johnny boy.
We recently celebrated John’s 2nd Birthday with a pawty filled with endless treats and toys. 🎂🎊🦴🎉

On the last Friday before Christmas, we reflect on our many heartwarming 2024 adoption events!

All these adoption success stories are a testament to our dedicated team, volunteers, ambassadors, influencers, venue partners, media and community supporters, and, of course, our amazing foster carers and adopters. 🐾💖

Last weekend from Canberra to South Eveleigh—collectively GAP achieved 62 adoptions! What a special way to end a huge year for our community events. 🐶🎉

When Two is Better Than One! 🐾🐾

🌟 Eight greyhounds found their loving homes, with a ninth adoption appointment already scheduled!

Thank you Petbarn and Wagga for the community support and love of our greyhounds!

Event highlights:
✨ Connor and Joe were adopted by one amazing family—double the love and cuddles!
✨ Two pairs of greyhounds went home together, and Tootie joined her new brother Buck, previously adopted from a Petbarn event!
✨ Luna stole hearts in her Christmas hat, while Sel showed us how relaxed life as a greyhound can be, taking a nap right on the floor.

Thank you to everyone who came out in the heat to meet our special dogs.
