π Travers Racing on Travers Street π
The Michael Travers Racing team is excited to announce that we have taken on Trevor Sutherland's former stables on Travers Street.
A proven winning environment, with closer proximity to the MTC Racecourse, we also have access to a six-horse walker, big yards, and 18 more stables.
With the possibility to train up to 40 horses accross both locations, we're hoping to capitalise on our recent good form.
A huge thank you to Sky Racing's Graeme White for interviewing Mick following the big announcement.
The hot run continues for MTR at Queanbeyan.
With the red-hot John Kissick in the saddle, Gold Tracker was too good for his rivals in the 1460m Benchmark 66 Handicap.
It was a clever ride and another awesome result for our hard-working stable.
It's been a busy but successful little period for our hard-working stable.
Last start Gundagai winner Dynamic One is off to Sydney tomorrow to contest the $120,000 Class Three Highway Handicap.
We've booked the services of Chad Schofield, and the 4YO heads to Rosehill Gardens in fine fettle.
Late last month, he had another strong hit-out at Murrumbidgee Turf Club, flashing strongly for second in a 1000m trial when under the guidance of the talented Ella McGuirk.
Fingers crossed for a big run!
When you walk into work on a Monday, following three wins in three days!
Meatloaf was singing a winning tune at Cootamundra on Sunday, with Johnny Kissick guiding the 4YO to an impressive victory in the Country Boosted 1400m Maiden Plate.
The result caps off a fantastic few days for the MTR stable, which included wins with Red Hill at Lockhart on Friday and Saint Loft at Wagga on Saturday.
"He's absolutely towelled them up"
Saint Loft rediscovered his best form at Wagga today, defeating his rivals in the 1675m Benchmark 50 Handicap.
It was another masterful ride by the one and only Nick Souquet.
In a fantastic two days of racing, that makes it back-to-back wins for the stable.
It's going to be a busy long weekend for our stable, but we made time to pick up our Dracarys filly from the breaker.
She's since been turned out for a break with our 2YO Xtravagant gelding, and they'll enjoy time out together, along with Master Artist, who's off for a well-earned spell.
For those wanting to race this filly with us, opportunities start at just $165, and we charge fixed ongoings.

π Dead heat victory at Lockhart π
Red Hill made it a winning debut for the MTR team at Lockhart picnics today.
Ridden by Emily Waters, the 5YO led them comfortably and held on for a dead heat win with the ironically named Photo Man in the 1400m Class B Handicap.
We'll take the result. Congratulations to owners Jackii and Darryl.
I think the girl's have missed each other of late so was great to have Ash and Eve back together today.
It never stops at Michael Travers Racing.
"It's Dynamic One who's lifting."
What a tough win by Dynamic One at Gundagai on Sunday!
It was such a gutsy effort and good ride by Nick Souquet!
