***CLIPPING***

Hi All, after a brief time away (longest 6 weeks of my life!!) I am back and ready to get stuck into clipping! I have appointments available during the week and also weekends when needed.

As always, I will be offering full clipping services followed by a hot water bath using the fantastic Eziwash shampoo and followed by a Hi Shine Equine hot oil treatment.

Today's equine in for a haircut ready for the Perth Royal Show is the stunning Mickles Vanity owned by Kerryn Mickle.
Such a well behaved, beautiful mare. Vanity enjoyed a post clip bath using Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand progroom shampoo followed by a HiShine Equine hot oil treatment. I also sent her home with a spray bottle containing the hot oil solution to spray on her coat daily as she is groomed.

Todays cute little client is in show prep for the Royal Show and is a few kgs lighter after her full body clip using my Heiniger Saphir Styles and was given a warm water rinse and Hishine hot oil treatment ❤️

It has been a pony clipping week! Another beautiful pony to do this arvo but for now here is the beautiful Flashy Leitch clipped using the amazing Heiniger Saphir Styles wide blades and finished of with a warm hose of and a HiShine hot oil treatment ❤️

A few of the horses I have clipped this month. All shapes, sizes and colours!

All of these horses were fully clipped using my Heiniger Saphir Style cordless clippers with the standard blades and the wide blades. They are guaranteed to give a perfect finish everytime!

How fantastic do these two eventers look?!? Not only did they recieve a lovely HSE hot oil after their full body clips but they are naturally glowing from the inside out with the help of Poseidon Equine WAs Digestive EQ. Both boys had the softest skin and beautiful coats to go with their perfect conditioning.

So grateful to have such wonderful clients that not only have impeccably behaved horses but the owners allow my 3 year old daughter to take them on "adventures"

Once again I used my Heiniger Saphir styles with wide blades to achieve a pristine finish and they are so quiet the horses practically fall asleep!

Another busy couple of days clipping horses. The best part about this job is the finished product is always different. The coat colour might change or the shape of the horse may look completely different.

It's getting to that time of the year again when our equines are starting to look a little on the fluffy side. I will be available for clipping again this season but will only be clipping at my home base in Wagin unless prior arrangements are made as I have 2 little people to care for ❤

Another one of my favourite clients came down to Wagin for their yearly 'haircut'. Such a well behaved boy and wow, that shine is blinding! Alfie was clipped using my favourite Heiniger Saphir Styles with the wide blade and the #10 blade Alfie then enjoyed a lovely post clip bath using the perfectly matched shampoo from Progroom and a HiShine hot oil treatment. After a unexpected false start to the clipping season (thanks covid-19) I will be back up and running as of the 18th May. I will be following strict health and safety protocols to ensure everyones safety and where ever possible I will be happy to clip your horses on my own to avoid unnecessary contact.
Full clip, body clip, hunter clip and a variety of trace clip designs to choose from. I am able to clip under cover inside my stables here in Wagin and as always every horse/pony recieves a complimentary HiShine Equine Hot Oil treatment post clip.
Travel to other regions is available but only for 3 or more horses at the one venue and travel fees do apply.

I'm baaaack!!! We are finally home from our epic adventure to Sydney for the East Coast Championships and the Australian Arabian National Championships and we are ready to take bookings for clipping and show day prep (plaiting, trimming, make-up etc). Coats are starting to get longer now that we are in Autumn so if you are wanting to get your horse or pony clipped send me a pm and I will book you in.
As always, we have safe and secure facilities here in Wagin or if necessary I can also travel to you (travel fees apply).

Just letting all my valued clients know that I will be out of action for the next couple of months as I have to have a knee reconstruction in the coming weeks after rupturing my ACL (note to self: don’t play netball). I apologise for this inconvenience 😔

2 more beautiful equines clipped today to make winter exercise a whole lot easier. Both were clipped using my favourite Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Saphir Style clippers with my awesome new blades. This was the first time this lovely family have opted to clip their fur babies and is a surprise to my clients daughter... Surprise Danèe!! Gelding pictured had a hunter clip with half face and the mare had an Irish clip ☘️ As always, both horses were treated to a warm bath with Hi Shine Equine hot oil to help soothe the skin and hair follicles post clipping 💙

Managed to get two of my own clipped yesterday ready for the Arabian Trilogy show in a couple of weeks. Pictured is our handsome Stallion Marbling Aden after being clipped for the very first time using Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Sapphire Styles. I highly recommend these clippers when introducing clipping for the first time 💙

Another gorgeous pony clipped today. Panda is a sensitive soul when it comes to big noisy, bumpy clippers so he was fully clipped using the amazing Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Saphir Style cordless clippers and followed up with a soothing Hi Shine Equine hot oil treatment.

Clipping season is well under way here in the Great Southern. Two more beautiful horses clipped this arvo 😍 so grateful to have facilities out of the wind and rain to make this itchy job much more enjoyable 💙
As always, the horses were clipped using my Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Saphir Styles and the ever powerful Delta 3 and were followed up with a nice warm hot oil treatment using Hi Shine Equine hot oil.

First show back after 8 months out of the showring due to being pregnant...and we cracked the big one! State Champion Purebred Showhorse 💙💙 safe to say I remembered how to plait and prep even with my somewhat dodgy mum brain 😜 it’s good to be back!

Show season begins for Team KHPA this weekend at WA Arabian State Championships. The week leading up to a show involves a number of washes with Platinum Pony Violet Wash and Violet Creme followed by a luxurious hot oil treatment with Hi Shine Equine hot oil.
In the final few days facial hair is trimmed using Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Saphir Style clippers which are perfect for this important job. Now that said horse is clean and prepped for the show we like to ensure they stay this way by protecting our nice clean tails with Buggez Bugeyes fantastic tail bags and plaits are held perfectly in place by their amazing skinny hoods. Having 3 grey/white horses on our show team we keep their bodies covered using Peter Williams Riding Apparel rugs and hoods.
Most importantly we ensure our beloved equines are healthy and happy on the inside by feeding a daily dose of Anitone. This allows us to travel long distances and know that our horses will arrive in tip-top condition ready to grace the show ring.

More Plaiting and make up pictures from last weekends successful WAAHA Arabian Trilogy Show.

Plaits fixed into place using Quick Knots from DSH Equestrian and MP Gloss Products TM Plaitz Spray.
Tail held in place also using MPs Plaitz spray and false tail supplied by Champion Tails.
Coat gleaming thanks to Judges Choice Australia and Hi Shine Equine Hot Oil.
For Elle’s Make up I can’t go past MP Gloss Products Mini Stix in Grey and MP Diamond Gel Black Onyx for a subtle but classy finish.

So grateful to have access to such great quality products and suppliers in WA.

I feel very grateful to be able to spend my birthday with some magnificent horses and this beautiful Gypsy Cob Stallion certainly made my day Evale GypsyCobs Not only was he perfect to clip but he was possibly the most relaxed horse I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
