Saturday March 1, auction to start at 8.30am. Reminder to arrive early to enter your poultry in a non returnable cage with a dish for water and to grab a bidding card. Usual bbq coffee and tea available.

We are excited to announce that we are holding a Bird & Poultry auction on Saturday 16th November, for this event to be possible and safe for our local bird community and the animals registered we need to please advise the following

* All birds and poultry to be healthy with no signs of illness
* Due to warmer weather kicking in the Auction will commence at 8:30am with registrations from 7am
* All birds & poultry to be in non-returnable cages with a water supply

Please remember that this is a cash only event.

The "Been Fishing Club will be catering on the day with egg & bacon rolls, lamb & gravy rolls and tea, coffee & water available throughout the day.

Various raffles will be running on the day to raise funds to restock our local waterways.

We look forward to seeing you all there 😀

POULTRY AUCTION IS BACK! Meeting was held and we have voted to hold a poultry auction on Saturday November 16 2024. Registration opens at 7am for a 8.30am start.
Please only bring heathy poultry to the auction in a non returnable cage. Please have a container of water in the cage also.
Bacon and egg rolls, coffee and tea will also be available for purchase in the morning and hot meat gravy rolls around lunch time.
As we are raising money to purchase fingerlings to help restock dams and rivers we will be having a few raffles on the day also.
Please come along and join in on a great day.

Poultry Auction CANCELED
For the health and safety of all our local poultry Saturday 13th July Poultry Auction has to be canceled.
We have had a lot of messages and calls come in today after Tuesday’s local news report of local shows cancelling. I have been on the phone today to LLS regional Vet, DPI and other industry personel. It is recommended we cancel our local poultry auction this weekend for the health and survival of all our feathered friends in our local region. We apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, but unfortunately this has to happen to keep the spread of the bird flu out of our region. Thank you all of your ongoing support in our auctions. Hopefully it won’t be too long and we will be up and running again. I have included below a phone number for advice or help if you suspect you may have AI in your flock or need more information.

Please be aware that Avian Influenza has now been detected in Sydney as well as the ongoing outbreak in Victoria. According to news sources they are 2 separate strains and not related cases.

***** UPDATE ******
Whilst our auction was a great success, it has been brought to our attention monthly auctions wouldn’t be so successful, due to breeding months, molting, extreme high and low weather temps and other surrounding auctions etc.
We would like to advise you all that our poultry auction will only be run 3 months of the year from now on instead of monthly. Advice from professional breeders and buyers near and far has created a change in our auctions. We will now be only auctioning March, July and November.
Please feel free to still put pics up of your feathered friends that will be at the next auction.
