Hello! Just us again! 👋🏽

There are feed bags available at the front gate for all riders/supporters to place your manure in from your yards or floats.
We will collect these at the end of the event, and would appreciate if all yards could be left as you found them ☺️💩🐴

We can’t wait to host you all this weekend with some stunning Ballarat weather (don’t forget the suncream!) ☀️🧴

For all riders attending our Summer Clinic and Hunter Trials weekend - rider times have now been uploaded to Event Secretary!

Please note, there is no canteen available over the weekend so please ensure to bring plenty of water and snacks along with you.

The FOBEA committee will be there across the weekend, so if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out!

A reminder to all our riders that the FOBEA Clinic and Hunter Trials are happening 18-19th January 2025, with entries open via Event Secretary.
We are so lucky to have Nina Clarke join our stable of coaches for the Clinic along side Yona Lloyd, Chris Height and Sam Cesnik.

All our coaches are riding at the top level of Eventing, sharing many successes between them. From national 4* wins, to an international 5* campaign, you are guaranteed to learn a thing or two about how to be the best, from the best!

We are excited to announce our annual Clinic and Hunter Trials are back on for 2025!
What you need to know:

🔸 The Clinic is on the Saturday with 3 fantastic coaches - Sam Cesnik, Chris Height & Yona Lloyd. 1.5hr SJ/XC lessons in groups of 5, catering riders from EA50-CCN3*
🔸 The Hunter Trials is on the Sunday - if you are unfamiliar with the the concept, this is a blend of Show Jumping and Cross Country (no dressage!). Catering rider from EA50-CCN3*
🔸 Entries open from 26.11.24 via Event Secretary

This is a very relaxed, competition environment and a fantastic way to dust out the cobwebs from the Christmas period or bring some new/young horses to a great venue

We are back!
The Friends of Ballarat Eventing Association committee have had a well earned rest, but as they say - there is no rest for the wicked, as plans are well underway for the 2025 season.

Some dates to add to your calendar's as follows;

Our Hunter Trials weekend will held on the 18th-19th January 2025. This will be in a familiar format of a Clinic on the Saturday and the Hunter Trials on the Sunday. Our instructors will be Yona Lloyd, Chris Height & Sam Cesnik. We are so grateful to have these fabulous riders back on board to share their knowledge.

The Marcus Oldham Ballarat International Horse Trials will be running on a NEW date of 11-13th APRIL 2025.
An extended Thank You to Eventing Victoria and other Organising Committee's for working with us to find a suitable date to host our event.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, so please be in touch with us if you would be interested in getting involved.

More information will be available in due course, but for now we will keep working hard to bring our supporters & riders the best events possible.
