Job Advertisement: Full-Time Maintenance Person

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Maintenance Person to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is willing to learn, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for general maintenance across our property and facilities — from basic repairs to assisting with machinery and infrastructure upkeep. No formal qualifications required — just a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn on the job.

What We’re Looking For:
• A full, valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)
• Someone practical, physically fit, and ready to take initiative
• Fast learner who can follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy and a working with children’s check.
• Bonus: Experience on farms, with tools, machinery or general labour and knowledge or experience with horses.

Duties May Include:
• Basic property repairs and general upkeep
• Assisting with fencing, irrigation, machinery, and small construction tasks
• Helping with vehicle maintenance, arena maintenance and putting out bails.
• Supporting the broader team as needed

Annabel is a passion:ate animal lover, mum of 2 beautiful children and a registered Counsellor and Equine Assisted Psychotherapist.

After working in corporate administration for over 20 years, it was time for a change of pace and a realignment of priorities after becoming a mum.

Having horses from a young age, Annabel quickly became aware of how healing horses can be.

Annabel’s key areas of interest are building self-esteem, increasing awareness, regulation techniques, relationship building, anxiety and boundary setting.

Annabel’s mission is to provide an honest and practical approach to everyday life and mental health issues such a PTSD, trauma, social anxiety, confidence issues, OCD and su***de prevention, to name a few.

Annabel works with children, teens, and adults both privately and NDIS clients.

Sessions can be offered individually or in small groups (both private and corporate groups can be catered for).

Equine therapy offers our clients a therapeutic environment that can feel less threatening and more inviting than room based therapy.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy allows youth, and people of all ages, to work on issues such as:

Assertiveness
Confidence
Developing and maintaining relationships
Emotional awareness
Empathy
Impulse control
Problem-solving skills
Social skills
Trust in others
Trust in self
